Vince's company, his decision. Vince doesn't owe anybody a living. Harsh but true Technically it is only mostly Vince's company now that it is publicly traded.

I don't think he's good enough to be in the WWE. His humor stuff is alright but he's not really spectacle in the ring. That and being best buds with Punk doesn't help, especially now.

I get more humor from Orton vs Cena matches than I get from Colt.
He does nothing for me.

I don't care about Colt Cabana.
He's a fun comedy act that works when he can kinda hammer his own stuff out, but I see no reason to believe he'd accel just because.
He is a charismatic guy and could probably float a couple of garbage angles because of it, but you need him unscripted with the right supporting cast to really cash in.

Think it's a bit odd as the WWE likes a comedy act such as Santino you'd have thought they might have had him in a Midcard role for a while but eh, whadda you gonna do

I wish they brought him in and if they were so petty at Punk still, have all the guys who Punk defeated let them job out Cabana.
Chris Jericho, Daniel Bryan, Kane, Cena, Orton, HHH, etc...
At least Cabana gets some paydays out of this.

I don't get why the WWE hasn't wanted Colt Cabana, as he has a lot to offer. At this point though, I would prefer Colt just stay away from them.

I always thought Colt would be a good color commentator. He has a good voice and knows enough about wrestling to actually come across as knowledgable. Too bad Punk will never be back because him and Cabana would make an awesome RAW commentary team. There's always TNA I suppose.

Whoever suggested that he be brought in as Matt Classic with the Vaudevillians is smart, that's the best way to utilize him at this point if they brought him in. But I think he's making way more money doing the independents and I think he likes that freedom and the Art of Wrestling does well with keeping his name out there.

Did anyone in this thread ever see his Scotty Goldman stint? I saw him make fun of Great Khali before a match, using what I recall was a paperbag hand puppet, and was instantly done with wanting to see him on a televised wrestling show ever again. His debut promo where he was going on about been stuck in a box instantly soured me on him.

I would guess after hearing the constant horror stories personally from the mouth of CM Punk, Colt will not be losing too much sleep about WWE not expressing an interest in him.

I dig Colt...but he personifies being a mark for yourself. Like i said, I think he's awesome and love his stuff. But can imagine someone trying to creatively control him wouldn't be easy. If that makes sense.
