Any title?
I'd have Ryback come very close to breaking Honky's IC title record. Lose the title, then win it again eventually shattering Pedro Morales' combined IC title record.

Nobody, especially if half the title reign is working a bunch of semi-mains while John Cena closes the show, followed by a crappy alignment change nobody asked for.

If you thought I was going to pick someone in this poll...
...I'm afraid I've got some BAD NEWS~
Yeah. I'd give Wade a long-ass title reign, just because.

I'd hate to see how you guys would have reacted during reigns that lasted for years like Bruno's, Pedro's or Backlund's. I'd give it to Seth to make him the ultimate, top heel of the next decade.

daniel bryan would really seem like the only option here the rest would probably sizzle out eventually he had a title run of what was it 2 months? His immunity to the sizzle is as in doubt as anyone else's on that list.

I'd hate to see how you guys would have reacted during reigns that lasted for years like Bruno's, Pedro's or Backlund's. I'd give it to Seth to make him the ultimate, top heel of the next decade. There wasn't eight hours of TV a week in their day. It's a different world and a year long reign is just too much of a status quo, it just renders everything surrounding the character and the main event scene boring and tedious, plus eventually it stops mattering because once somebody's held it long enough it turns into, "Well, no sense watching Payback, they're sure as hell not losing it on a minor show." And the roster's simultaneously too thin and too stacked for it. They need a lot of repetition because of how few options there are, but there are enough good options that the title should be bouncing around a lot over the next year. Both are things that make a long title reign disadvantageous.

I personally can't stand short reigns.

I personally can't stand short reigns. There are times when it's appropriate and times when it's not. It's dumb if every single person can retain it right out of the gate because it's basically just a gimme then and renders the first month of the reign pointless, and with a lengthy feud, trading the title back and forth (like, say, Rock and Mankind) is better than the champion beating the challenger over and over and over like Sheamus / Alberto.

Ideally, if he were sticking around and working more dates, I'd have Lesnar hold the title for quite a while. That gives them time to build some people up and, personally I think, makes it all the more special when someone does finally beat him.
I tend to agree with whomever said that the WWE product moves too fast for a title reign that long to be a great idea or viable option any longer. WWE has conditioned fans to be too fickle to handle it unless it's someone who either starts as a face and turns heel, or vice versa, without it being so forced, i.e. Punk(although I think they could have accomplished something if they'd allowed Punk to stay face for his entire run.)
Generally the idea behind such a lengthy run would be to promote great matches and the athleticism of both the Champion and contender(s) while elevating the title to actually mean something. With a long reign being questionable, the other way they may be able to accomplish the same type of goal would be to do something similar to Bryan's ROH title reign and build up how many times he's defended. Unfortunately, that would also take commentary putting it over, which they don't seem willing to do whether it's the actual team or people telling them what to say.

If they went with another such long reign, then I think it would need to be a real heel (not like Punk's heel turn during his reign) like Rollins as it is easier to sell a face chasing a heel champion; plus it would allow the champion to main event a few shows during that reign owing to the inevitable recurring matches with Cena.
But of course they shouldn't do another long title reign - it doesn't really fit modern WWE.
