So let's say the WWE is really eager to push down CM Punk's 434 day title reign like how fast they moved to remove Lesnar from the title of "youngest world champion" with Orton.
We know Vince McMahon and Hunter Hearst Helmsley can be real petty at times, plus Hunter has heat with Punk.
With that said, if you have to pick someone from the current roster to give a 435+ day run with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, who do you pick?

Nobody. 2012 was hard to watch after Extreme Rules. The most should be 8-9 months that's it.

I think Ziggler could pull it off.

Yep. I'm all for lengthy title runs but the product moves way too fast for a 435+ day to not get stale. Especially if they are just stretching out the number like they did with Punk.

Probably this. Not because I don't think it would be cool to see again but that guy would have to avoid injury for over a year which I can't see guys like Bryan or Ziggler doing. Punk got injured towards the end of his reign as we know.

I would love to see Bryan have a long run with the belt where he outwrestles everyone etc. That would be a great way to make the belt look important in my opinion and he would be better at overcoming the odds than Cena (Bryan makes a much more believable underdog)

Ziggler as a Flair style Ric Flair champion would be AMAZING. I've really been getting into him lately (though I've appreciated him for longer I've never been a huge fan).
Also, if John Cena was ending his career a run like that would at least make sense even if I didn't want it to happen. However, since Cena has an addictive personality I doubt he'll quit until long after his body has. So I REALLY don't want it to happen since he'd just continue anyway and we'd have a year plus run he doesn't need.
Bryan might be interesting. All the false starts have taken some of the luster off plus the "Yes movement" has a lot of the same qualities a flash in the pan has. That being said if Bryan delivers it will prove he's not a flash in the pan and a great title reign will overshadow all the troubles of the false starts.

I think we all would like to see that young whipper snapper Hunter Hearst Helmsley get a prolonged run with the title.

He isn't even a flash in the pan anyways.

I just mean as a main event talent with cross over appeal. Really, WWE has lacked anyone with cross over appeal for a long time. Cena is the best they got, but Bryan's yes thing has a ton of potential. If it doesn't just dry up, that is.

Nobody. With Punk's they really had to stretch it out, and the interest level had seriously waned by the end.

Unless it made sense nobody. If it did make sense then whoever it made sense to do it with. Given that 'underdog' is a big part of Bryan's shtick the fact that he's leading the poll is hilarious. The underdog 435+ day champ. Got it.
