Points, dude. I gave up when I got to the classic Donkey Kong arcade part. That was one of like 6 things in the game I hated. And I'm actually pretty good at the arcade Donkey Kong, but I think toggling around on the f***in' N64 stick made it a pain for me. Oh and f*** that beetle race. f*** that rabbit too. f*** that beaver round up game too, especially the last round of it.

I think it was a Power Rangers game for the Megadrive. I remember going to school the next day, and bragging about it.

I do love the game but MAN if it isn't brutally difficult in quite a few places.

]f*** that beaver round up game too, especially the last round of it. The beaver game is easy.... Of course, this would have been nice to know in 1999.

The earliest I can remember I think is Super Mario Bros. 2 for NES. Either Haunted House or Adventure on the Atari VCS. After that I guess it would be Swordquest Earthworld,Swordquest Fireworld,ET and Raiders of the lost ark on the VCS.

Power Rangers for Sega Genesis. Once I got past the Green Ranger everything else was cake to me.

Secret of Mana. Instantly my favorite game I ever touched as a kid, played it non-stop! I got it in my Easter basket one year.
Still holds up to this day, and I play it to completion probably once a year.

Pretty sure it was Tujad. In 1986. You bunch of young whippersnappers. I was quite literally beating games before some of you were born, so show Grampa some respect here!

By the time lots of the posters here were born I was already out of school and in the Army.Seeing people in the Metallica thread talking about getting the Black Album as a kid has made me feel kind of old now. I was either a Junior or Senior in high school when that album came out.

C'mon, let's go stand in the corner and harumph loudly at these kids with their Zelda this and their Mario Kart that.
Ahh, I remember playing Tujad. I wore an onion on my belt, which was the fashion at the time...

Without using cheats, or warps(also cheating), it would be Bionic Commando on the NES. One of the few games I can still pick up today and complete.

I call bullshit, or at the very least you beat it last week after trying for 25 years. Tyson is a total dickhead to beat. I'm actually planning on getting 007 373 5963 tattooed into my sleeve soon. Seriously though, grats. Super Mario Bros. for the NES here. Just did an 8 min run on my DS thanks to this thread. Hadn't played it in a while but it's muscle memory at this point. I tried Tyson but he kicked my ass, I still can't beat him reliably.

If you consider beating the main game mode of that beating a game, it was undoubtedbly WWF WrestleMania on NES.
Then maybe SMB.

Streets of Rage 2. Sega Megadrive.
I still remember because when I finally finished the game, the power pack was so hot it could have exploded. This after around 90 MINUTES of non-stop gaming.
Man we really take our 10 hour Skyrim binges for granted.
