Tren on Dreams is a brilliant game. Could easily see it as a proper indie release.
Many of the games I have tried so far though range from flat-out awful, to fun for a little while and that's it. Tectonic is the latter--cool idea, but the inability to actually race other drivers meant I got bored with it fast.

Alan Wake has the shittiest combat controls I've encountered. Makes what would otherwise be a really good game, an utter chore to get through when Wake tries to run and gasses quicker than Scott Hall. Or tries to duck and just fails.

Finally got around to starting one of the most-anticipated games in my PS5 backlog with Ghostrunner. Best way I can describe it is like a cyberpunk version of Mirrors Edge, and you’re essentially playing as Genji from Overwatch

So it's put me off buying it. As soon as I read a game is Souls-like or one of the hardest games ever or has a steep learning curve, I just can't be f***ed. |

I really need to get some more use out of my PS5. Kind of barely touch it anymore to the point I feel like I haven't gotten my money's worth out of my PS Plus subscription that expires in November.
Definitely going to play Spider-Man when it comes out and kind of meaning to replay the first one but past that I tend to just drift to my Xbox or Switch instead.

Just realised there is a Front Mission First Remake for PS5
Completely missed the release of that. Gonna give that a purchase while it's on sale and, likely, Dark Pictures Devil in Me.
Playing Circus Electrique at the moment. It is an interesting game, no doubt. A cool concept and I love the art style but there is too much combat and the combat, is frankly, repetitive and a bit of a chore. I will likely plough througj it until I finish it and then go for Front Mission or Devil in Me.

Honestly iv not really taken to quite a few of the monthly games months this year and this month looks just as poor to me as some of the previous months. Just started the Baldurs gate series of games today, looking forward to the third and man playing the first game in tutorial mode, it looks like itll be pretty cool but the controls are so fiddly at times, im awful with complex controls, i hope ill get used to them as i go along. |

That's a very poor month. I thought Sony would pull something decent out the hat to make up for XBox releasing Starfall. But we get a crap remake. And two games I've never heard of--including one which is an MMO, and MMO games are usually terrible.
Generation Zero looks interesting---but the reviews for it are awful. 4/10, 2.5/10, 3/10 .... yikes.
