There have been reports of Bungie playing ND's Live Service Last of Us multiplayer game recently and hating it, and a few weeks ago they laid off a bunch of QA testers, which might indicate that the game is now no where near release as they don't need people to test it anymore. Could be that they now need *something* to release in the next year and a Remaster won't take that much time.

I finally got S+ on every RE4 Mercenaries level with each character to get Leon's RPD costume. I started a new game just to get see Leon in his new costume and three hours later I'm now at the castle...

One of my local resale shops has the PSVR2 for 400... honestly tempted but I feel like VR on Playstation is so limited. Does anyone here have any experience with either the Meta Quest or PSVR?

I’d honestly impulse buy that. PSVR1 rocked and was a nice appetizer for VR, but was pretty limited and cumbersome while the 2 seems like such a massive upgrade. Only one wire! Huge improvement with the hardware and controllers.

Me: I might get The Lords of the Fallen but it's so weird how they decided the give it the same title as the original, I mean that only came out...*looks it up*...nine years ago...

I have a Quest 2. The PSVR2 looks great and has had good reviews, but I did not bother with it because 1) I have a beefy PC for VR and 2) I have a big library of games on the Quest 2 so it is only the PSVR exclusives that I would be getting it for and that isn't worth 500 dollars to me. If I had no VR headset and already had a PS5, I might give the PSVR2 a go. However the Quest 3 is already up for preorder, and early reviews are quite positive. As I don't have either the Quest 3 or the PSVR2, I can't compare them, but those would be the top options right now in that price range. I think PSVR2 has a graphics edge and eye tracking. Quest 3 can do PC VR and is wireless.

Lords of the Fallen is actually the game I’m looking most forward to this month. Give me all the Soulslikes.

Started a new Cyberpunk game to try out the new DLC and see all of the updates and I noticed that I always unintentionally create the exact same character looks wise when I start a new game. If it works it works I guess!
Also dusted off the old ps3 the other day and played the non remastered San Andreas I purchased on it years back. I forgot how much of a demolition derby the traffic is. How I ever got through that game by driving so long ago I have no idea.

I am glad I didn't buy Callisto Protocol when it came out. The combat is utter gash. Shame because the atmosphere of the game is pretty good.
But the combat is appalling, coupled with bullet sponge enemies. f*** it. Can't be arsed

Was thinking about getting Lords of the Fallen but it just looks to Dark Soulsy, the reveal trailer made it look a lot more like Blasphemous with the f***ed up christian imagery. Thankfully I got Callisto Protocol for $5 at GameStop, so I'm probably going to play that this weekend.

Picked up Lies of P on a whim. This game has absolutely helped fill the Souls game void that I've had since beating Elden Ring.

Hopefully the updates make it even better.

I downloaded a pirate game, something Tortuga.
For a game with like zero reviews online, it isn't too bad--combat is a bit repetitive. And the main quest is getting a bit fetch-questy. But I can manage a pirate fleet and go around pillaging, and that's all I ask.
I am surprised, after the success of Black Flag that nobody has thought "let's make a f***ing good pirate game." People love pirates. People still hold Sid Meir's Pirates as being a great game. Yet nobody is interested in making one ... well, except for Skull & Bones, which I think is multiplayer--or at least multiplayer focussed, and sounds like basically "World of Tanks" just with pirate ships.

Doesn’t help the first section has a lot of platforms and jumping, so the floaty ass controls aren’t helping matters even a little.
