At least it's still technically The Last Man on Earth.

At least it's still technically The Last Man on Earth. That'll be the big swerve. Most women actually survived, but he's the only man

I laughed at Moby Double Dick. I don't know if I'm happy about that or not.

Literally me and the hubby felt bad for him the whole episode
We both just kept repeating the same phrase "He just wants to put it in..."

Can somebody explain how this is "The Last Man on Earth" when every episode features more people?

Part of me now wants a plotline where they introduce one more character, a male, who's attractive enough for the blonde, but geeky enough for our protagonists wife, and have our main guy try to kill him just so he could be literally The LAST man on Earth
We just need an actor who is attractive, geeky, knows how to be a jackass yet have a charming sense of humor where even Phil hates that he likes him (Think Homer being "friends" with Flanders)

He really flopped at the end of this ep. Just go through with the divorce!!! He's not getting any emotional fulfillment from the marriage and he's only not divorcing her out of pity.

They also made her so unlikable that I root against her. One 2 min bonding sequence doesn't just wipe away the rest of what we've seen of her. This episode just pissed me off

This episode just pissed me off They both have strong ratings on the unlikable scale, but I know what you mean. This ep made me realize that each character copes with the end of the world differently. Phil gave up trying to care about his appearance and rules in general. Carol went the opposite way and leaned in to order and organization to cope. It makes me wonder what Melissa's coping mechanism is going to be. The coffee shops story was nice, but I wouldn't be surprised if she ended up being homicidal or way way crazier than Phil or Carol. She's handling the end of humanity a little TOO well. If you check IMDB it looks like another girl and a new guy will eventually join the cast too. So the whole "Last MAN on Earth" thing may not hold up after all.

Well he's definitely not the last MAN on earth anymore.
I'm glad they're getting past the whole Phil obsessed with Melissa thing. It was getting pretty dark. The whole scene with Phil and Todd out in the desert was great. Good mix of comedy and genuine emotion.
Also Carol was way less annoying. Her singing "all night long" had me cracking up because I just heard Rich Swann do the whole song on Saturday at WWN.

Phil is finally getting bit more likeable and at one point sympathetic. Seriously it was getting hard to root for him and this show if he kept up getting more unlikeable and annoying

Well he's definitely not the last MAN on earth anymore. I feel like "Alive in Tucson" was what they wanted to call it, but Fox didn't think that title was enough of a hook.
