She is harsh but that's the thing, she's the only character not afraid to call on anyone's bullshit and sees through anyone's lies. But I do hate how can't immediately pick up on Todds concerns over Phil Miller

Melissa doesn't bother me. When you tally up all the things Tandy's done in S1, her disdain for him is fairly justified.

The show is still programmed on my DVR. Can't guarantee I will actually watch the episodes that tape. Phil started out wacky and funny but now he just seems narcissistic and pathetic. We are supposed to root for him but he is such a jerk that I just can't.
The only way this show could redeem itself for me if it ends like "An Occurrence At Owl Creek Bridge" with it all being a fantasy just before he kills himself in the beginning.

Anyone see the season 2 debut of the show? That was an excellent premiere. If later episodes of that show are within that quality it could easily be one of my favorite shows. I hope Season 2 fixes Season 1's mistakes mostly for how unlikeable and douchey was Phil was.

Yeah, I liked the s2 opener.
The end of the world was getting a little crowded tbh. I liked the barebones aspect of the first couple eps of s3 and by the end of the s1 it was kind of morphing into a workplace comedy.
Plus Jason Sudekis was really earnest with his part so it was a great counterbalance to the other part.
I liked that Carol was kind of on board for Phil's shenanigans though.

That might of been the most intense ans most depressing mid season finale ever. f*** I'm hoping this isn't going to be a huge bummer cliff hanger like that would be cruel if indeed both Phil and Phil's brother both die.
