How the hell are they going to completely sells the NXT/WWE crowd as Owen being a true heel? All of this family talk just keeps a note in your mind that in general he's a good dude. It's hard to imagine how they can twist that. For me, it's kind of scummy for him to keep bringing up his family, as though it's supposed to justify everything he does in a positive light.

Does anyone know if Blue Pants is actually in their developmental program? Haven't seen anything positive from her wrestling wise, but she plays and reacts off the crowd very well. There's been no talk of a deal. If there was she was wouldn't be working for TNA last weekend. She's nearly 32 and not athletic. Her appeal is a mile wide and an inch deep, and they seem to know it. They can keep her around occasionally, but there is no long term future in people liking blue pants. Also look in how they layout her matches they know shes a limited, uncoordinated worker.

Adrian Neville is an A+ player. I'm more impressed every time I watch him. And now, I know he can deadlift German a 250 pound man.
Owens is actually getting heel heat with me, that powerbomb outta-nowhere finish pissed me off. And the whole "my family" schtick is a great guilt-trippy heel move.
Blake and Murphy are like the Smoking Gunns, but worse. They're sort of doing the disingenuous smiling cowboy gimmick, but mixing in completely non-cowboy, modern sayings. Dubstep Cowboys, indeed. I like the Cornfed Meathead better.
I believe the newz about Sasha having the rep for being too stiff. Everything she does looks so mean. Really works for her when she's a heel, to me when she went heel she clicked immediately.
Besides Graves being repetitive (gotta take advantage!), commentary was solid this week. Albert and Graves bounce off each other well, and I think Rich Brennan is a damn good announcer. He gets the info across like Cole, but does it with a much better tone, he sounds legitimately excited.

You know, main roster, Enzo and Cass would have already made a Team BM joke.

Owens does do the cowardly thing and exit the ring at the opening bell. That's the most heelish thing he does in the matches so far unless I'm missing something. He slapped on a pretty fearsome chinlock mid-match as well.

Honestly, I don't see how being a complete dill hole that cheap shots your friend and ruins his moment all while saying that you are just "doing it for your family" doesn't make you a heel.
Owens is a bastard. A bastard with a family but a bastard nonetheless.

Great show, AGAIN!
Owens is legit. That's all I can say for him. Neville is the best wrestler on that roster, if you ask me personally. He is just so god damned good at everything that he does, and no matter who he is in the ring with - he has a stellar match. Love me some Sasha still. Absolutely adored when she pulled Blue Pants up from the count just to keep hurting her - great heel work with the opening of the ropes too.
NXT continues to be the only programming worth watching that is produced by the WWE.

I think some of you guys are really overthinking the Owens thing. He's definitely a heel in that he could have pinned Sami Zayn about three powerbombs before the match was called off. I believe the character when he says he's making up for lost time to support his family, but he definitely has an axe to grind against all this peers who got called up before him, a personal jealousy that he doesn't wanna confess to. The Full Sail crowd would cheer him eating a baby, so the best NXT can do is tell a good story.
Man Rhyno is a tank now. He did not look like that during his time in ROH. Wow. I'm interested in hearing Triple H's phoner when the next Takeover event happens to get the full story on what the expectations are with a guy like Rhyno. Is he just there to pad the numbers and give them some star power to work with? Or is this a legitimate shot for him to make a comeback? I would have to assume the former, as his existence in WWE would challenge Roman Reigns somewhat.
I didn't like the direction they took with Blake and Murphy. I like them as the plucky blue chippers, and now they're threatening to tag team Carmella. I guess the characters haven't been all that fleshed out so it's not character breaking to go this direction but I don't really care for it. NXT need some new tag teams.
I'm really love/hate with the Full Sail crowd but instances like cheering Sasha Banks makes me wish they would settle down and just play along with the show. I understand cheering the heels in WWE because they're usually the most downtrodden and hardworking guys on the shows while the faces offer few redeeming values but NXT has great characters that actually respond to the world around them. Not every match needs to be a 50/50 split. And what's the story on Blue Pants? I must have missed where she was introduced but her theme music is hilarious.
Main event was great. Really shocked me how much offense Neville got in. I really love Neville's character and he has some of the best intense facial expression in the business. He's just 100% hell bent on beating everyone he's up against and you see the focus on his face the whole time.

Blue Pants was introduced as pretty much a developmental challenge for Carmella and got a cult following. And BTW, that's Big Cass doing her theme. He hummed that one night and well...it stuck.

Crowe's debut was pretty cool. Liked the rebound headbutt, and his music sounded pretty awesome. Dude maybe needs to lay off the tanning beds though,oy vey. Looked more like he belonged in Essex rather than NXT.

Freakin' hell that deadlift German is ridiculous! Also, LMAO at Finn's reaction to Rhyno he was all like "the f***?!" And it feels really nice to hear the "suckin' a dick yeah" Rhyno theme song again

Owens is a bastard. A bastard with a family but a bastard nonetheless. If anything, he's even more of a dick for trying to justify his actions because he's doing it for his family, which would imply doing the minimum when he's obviously going out of his way to hurt people.

Great NXT, I'm super new to NXT, this is my 6th show, including Takeover Rival.
Regal is still brilliant.
Sasha Banks is ace, really good talent!, Becky Lynch's accent is sexy!
I don't mind Blake & Murphy, they're quite interesting, but yeah, NXT needs a more robust tag team division, even I can see that.
Enzo & Cass are brilliant, 2nd or 3rd time seeing them and I love them already haha.
Got some clarity on Blue Pants earlier, funny little idea, her theme is class.
Nice seeing Rhyno again, what's the suckin' a d*ck thing about though?
Neville is just incredible, Owens is a beast.
Love the commentary team, I wish Renee Young were on it more often, but the team is brilliant, huge fan of Corey Graves on the pre-shows and commentary, he's decent.
Greg Hamilton, the NXT backstage interviewer, he's not amazing, but he's filler and he follows me on Twitter so I can't hate him.
I just love NXT, trying to get my friend on it but he's not having it, he "doesn't care about the future, only the present"
NXT is just a beautiful hour of programming each week

Kevin Owens is wrestling's version of Walter White. Sociopath who says he does things for his family. While that may be partially true, the major reason is his own pride.

Another great show this week. It hit me that Neville has been one of the top faces in NXT for over two years now (short heelish run aside) and he's still regularly pulling out moves that I can't remember seeing him use before. Obviously the NXT format helps but he does well to just change things enough to stay fresh. I don't think Finn knows who Rhyno is as he's clearly having to read the name on his shirt.

Nice seeing Rhyno again, what's the suckin' a d*ck thing about though? Internet Gaming-Comedy Group newLegacyinc, began their streaming career with a Here Comes the Pain story mode of Rhyno. Johnny sang along to rhyno's theme, aided by the fact that Rhyno's chest bump wasn't terribly-well captured (it looks like he's pounding his mouth rather than his chest, with "Suckin' a dick yeah, suckin' a dick."

Finished watching it a couple of hours ago, yet another good episode. NXT is currently the only show that I don't usually either skip through or just have it on in the background while I'm doing other stuff.
Great match from Neville and Owens.
Fun to see Rhyno again and the crowd enjoyed it as well.
I'm not really familiar with Solomon Crowe, he has an... interesting look.
