Really enjoyed Owens/Neville this week, especially Neville's 450 off the apron and that Deadlift German Suplex. Goddamn.
Also popped for Rhyno, and Blue Pants getting offence on Banks.

I think some of you guys are really overthinking the Owens thing. He's definitely a heel in that he could have pinned Sami Zayn about three powerbombs before the match was called off. I believe the character when he says he's making up for lost time to support his family, but he definitely has an axe to grind against all this peers who got called up before him, a personal jealousy that he doesn't wanna confess to. The Full Sail crowd would cheer him eating a baby, so the best NXT can do is tell a good story. He did though. Zayn was out after 3 Powerbombs, he pinned him and Zayn kicked out. The ref then pushed Owens off, the doctors checked on him and Owens went for the kill since Sami would not stay down.

Had Owens actually went fora proper cover Sami wouldn't have been able to power out. and after that Owens just continually powerbombed him into oblivion without even trying to pin him.

Well, that isn't Owens' fault. Zayn is just too damned prideful and hopped up on the SKA. If he'd just stayed down, Owens would have had to go overkill on him. It is a friendly assist at that point.

Another great show. NXT can do no wrong.
The main event was outstanding.
Being a massive Shimmer fan it's so nice seeing Blue Pants, Bayley & Becky doing so well for themselves. I wish Paige wasn't stuck in a bloody Bella feud that is beneath her and that Emma was used better, but in NXT they are all being used great.
Sasha Banks, despite not being a Shimmer alumni has really won me over. The girl's got sooo much charisma and looks and carries herself like a superstar. I also love how the females in NXT are "women" and not "Divas". Also some of them have surnames! How about that!
Great seeing Rhyno back and that look to Blaor has me intrigued.
I even liked the tag team scene. Enzo reminds me of Road Dogg or Portia Perez. Not the best wrestler, but he has so much charisma and character that you overlook that. The Vaudevillans have the best entrance in the company bar none! The tag champs impressed me at Takeover too. Good times ahead!
Regal's promo at the start was great too. Short and too the point, like what Steph used to do at the start of Smackdown every now and then. The Authority should take note!

f*** Rhyno, why the f*** is he on NXT? His stale stupid irrelevant for the past 10 years ass taking up time on NXT for squash matches? WTF why?

And pretty much anything not involving the champions, the NXT 5, the women's division, or the tag division, is nothing but squash matches

I don't like Neville in the way I do Sami Zayn. He doesn't intrigue me like Balor or inspire me to write multiple paragraphs about a single glance like Owens.
...But he may just be the workhorse of NXT at this point. He's given all three of those guys their best matches yet and is really bringing it character-wise. I may just have to rethink my view of him a little more.
NXT's weekly shows are making a comeback after a slump late last year. The number of pages reflect that.

NXT's weekly shows are making a comeback after a slump late last year. The number of pages reflect that. This one had nearly half the amount of pages as the SmackDown thread this week, even though that's on an actual TV channel in the US (while NXT is Network-exclusive there) and runs an hour longer. NXT is basically on par with SmackDown at this point in terms of FAN interest.

At my boyfriend's place so I only checked out Crowe's debut on Youtube. I shall watch the rest of the show tomorrow!
I've been waiting like ****ing forever for the dude to debut and it's finally happened. Yaaay. But that tan really has to go, it looks awful and I feel that his character should be pale, like Crowe was in his indy days. I enjoy seeing people kick CJ Parker's hippie ass.

Yeah, he looks kind of like a cool cyborg (attack... leave) where I was hoping he'd keep his twisted look and demeanor. I hope he returns to that in time to feud with Ambrose on the main roster. I need to have more faith in NXT though, at least where the men are concerned. I honestly thought he would be quietly let go without ever debuting.

Crowe's coming in at just the right time, I think. Guys like Zayn and Neville are probably going to be on the main roster by the end of the year, and Balor and Owens probably won't be too far behind, so he's a great chance at being one of the top guys in NXT this time next year.

Matches like Owens/Neville, and most NXT matches in general, I think have officially ruined wwe matches for me. There was not one match on the fastlane event tonight i thought was good.
