Ok, I want a spin-off with Pepper and Peg-Leg Meg going on Harley and Ivy-type criminal adventures around the world.
So, without spoilers, I thought this was really good. It never felt rushed like a lot of these finales do, and it tied up the bulk of the outstanding storylines. None of the plot twists were Ralph Boner sized disappointments (yeah, I'm not letting that go), and in the end you weren't going "wait, what happened to...?". And it was also a really awesome story in its own right. Perfect ending.

At least we finally found out how the Disney + Darkwing series gets its regular version of Steelbeak instead of the dummy version.

There is one thing I'm surprised about thinking back, but it's a minor thing in the long run. {Spoiler}When Steelbeak had all the brainwashed villains, I'm half surprised that Lunaris wasn't among them. Seems he's just been left to die on his spaceship/second moon to Earth by the end of things (then again, with how Ludwig Von Drake somehow stayed alive, perhaps the moon general can somehow too).

Finally... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}...the Rescue Rangers get to speak!!!! {Spoiler}{Spoiler}That makes it worth it.
Is it Tress and Jim?
Edit: and Corey Burton. I found the end credits and he's credited, but not Tress. It's someone else.
And the characters are all called Rescue Rangers, no individual names.

What I thought was funny over their two appearances is... {Spoiler}...in their first appearance they’re drawn very clearly but are voiceless. In the finally they’re very blurry through the glass but we get voices. It’s just hilarious to me.

Butthey choose to p6it restrictions, and even charge extra fees so a Disney production can use characters owned by Disney.

Otherwise, yeah it happens. Look at DC not permitting DC shows to use DC characters....coughBATEMBARGOcough (Wonder if they had the Joker be silent, or show him in some blurred context, if he could have been in JLU...)

The last season featured a ton of DCU villains, none of whom were Bat-related, in purely silent/background roles as the LOD gang. I reckon that even like that no Bat-foes were allowed. We got Joker for a 2-parter just before the embargo dropped - and am I misremembering Clayface possibly showing up right after the embargo? - but perhaps the actual sole survivor was Clock King, who technically was not a proper Bat-villain, getting roped up into Task Force X for a JLU ep.

So {Spoiler}{Spoiler} Webby is Scrooge's daughter/clone.
That's so unlike Disney.
I thought she'd be nobody and her real name was, huh huh, C.U. Nextuesday.
/Yep not letting the WV thing go.

{Spoiler}I'm sidestepping things with that and just saying this: Wonder who the female base was for Webby if Scrooge was the male base. I'm gonna go with Pepper since she seems to have that same exuberance that Webby (especially early on) has.

It was mostly a sarcastic comment about the you know who's showing up in the DuckTales finale, only you couldn't get a good look at them. I do wonder if Timm, et al could have used any loopholes like the one in DuckTales. They did so with Black Manta/Devil Ray (oh yeah, they couldn't use Aquaman characters too, eventually.) And Hugo Strange got in an episode too. The Embargo started when they went to Unlimited and when The Batman began on Kids' WB. (as future movie/show combos seemed to be looser with permitting multiple versions of characters, I still wonder if this was a way to try and "sabotage" JLU so that WB could put the Timmverse out to pasture in favor of new franchises?)

So watching the replay from this morning - {Spoiler}In part one, on Webby's family board, there's a picture of two people that Webby believes are her parents. After what we discover of her origins we know they're not, the question is who are they? Just random people? Beakley's actual family?

I haven't seen the episode yet and synopses don't really mention them. {Spoiler}In the scene where Steelbeak and the mind controlled Glomgold, Magica and Beagle Boys are kicking the crap out of Launchpad. Darkwing and Fenton give him a pep talk about how he inspired them to become heroes. Random characters that Launchpad inspired in the series appear in cells behind them including the Rangers who are blurry but get to speak this time.
