Say, when do they appear? I haven't seen the episode yet and synopses don't really mention them. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}In the scene where Steelbeak and the mind controlled Glomgold, Magica and Beagle Boys are kicking the crap out of Launchpad. Darkwing and Fenton give him a pep talk about how he inspired them to become heroes. Random characters that Launchpad inspired in the series appear in cells behind them including the Rangers who are blurry but get to speak this time. So that helped me track it down. And...I am still underwhelmed. {Spoiler}Two one-syllable words. And somehow it sounds more Alvin and the Chipmunks than Chip 'n' Dale. Kind of like the one instance in their other appearance, the one besides the rodent chatter.

That’s still on Disney though and not so much the DuckTales crew since... {Spoiler}...for god knows what reason they have a hard on for this live action Rescue Rangers movie happening with Andy Samberg and John Mulaney as Chip and Dale. The Rescue Rangers were never approved to appear...period. They said f*** it and snuck them in and figured they’d be told to cut them...but Disney let it slide. My mind is boggled that DuckTales could have gotten a rise in popularity for the Rangers pre-movie but they were like...nah.

Look at the messes WB had in the early 2000s. {Spoiler} Off topic, but I feel this RR live action movie is just going to be Chip and Dale, and the humans. I'd not be surprised if Gadget and Monterrey were NOT in it.

So I just watched the finale in full.
I'm not gonna lie. That was a really good finale. I'm sad that it's over, but it was probably as close to a perfect ending as it could've been, IMHO.

I agree, it was one of the better finales of a animated series. Though I do think Avatar: The Last Airbender series finale is still the gold standard for me. On the other hand, I have seen a lot of disappointing finales, and this better than that.

I'll level with you...I don't know why but seeing the mute Rangers and all makes me feel funny. I can't explain it.

Finally got around to watching Disney Afternoon: Endgame and I must say yeah that was a pretty darn good way to wrap everything up end the series on a high and leave things open enough to revisit the franchise a few years down the line if Disney is so keen to do so.
Of course it helps that they saved the best DA reference for last and bring in the man with the smoothest voice in the business to really make it pop.

Well the commercials are way better than Conrad's commercials.

An episode about podcast commercials, well it is like a Conrad podcast.

That is so totally Duckula's silhouette, surprised it took that long for someone to catch that. I have no clue who owns the rights to that franchise, though granted with as much moving and shifting of showbiz companies as there's been the last few years, who the heck knows.
While the topic's bumped, anybody heard anything much about any new content announcements for DT or anything related to the non-live action Chip 'n Dale Disney Afternooniverse? Feel like it looked like there were so many potential spinoffs ready to go but then they all just sort of stalled out with covid messing up everything.
