What are some matches that never happened in the past for one reason or another while both were active wrestlers on the roster?
Some I could think of:
Austin vs. Lesnar (most obvious one.) Lesnar vs. Kane (Only match they had was on a house show.) Shawn Michaels vs. Eddie Guerrero (was supposed to happen at WrestleMania 22 supposedly.) Triple H vs. Christian Booker T vs. Shawn Michaels Goldberg vs. Undertaker The Rock vs. Randy Orton Undertaker vs. Sheamus CM Punk vs. Shawn Michaels Sheamus vs. Shawn Michaels

CM Punk vs Kurt Angle?
I know Kurt was in ECW just a little bit before getting let go. Was CM Punk with the WWE yet?

Main Event Cena v Undertaker
A few of these I'm guessing just cant remember them wrestling each other:
Rey v Brock JBL v HHH Sheamus v Punk Jeff Hardy v Cena

JBL / Triple H I'd guarantee happened on Heat or something once. Also, Cena as a main eventer had a few matches with Taker on Raw.

I was looking up results the other day and was surprised to see that Edge and (post-APA) JBL hardly ever interacted. I don't recall how much time they spent on different brands though.

Shawn Michaels vs. Eddie Guerrero (was supposed to happen at WrestleMania 22 supposedly.) I've heard conflicting stories... but they WERE going to compete on opposite teams at Survivor Series the year Eddie died.

For what it's worth on that opening post, Punk / Michaels and Orton / Rock did definitely happen in multi-person matches. And I'm pretty sure Punk / Michaels happened on SmackDown once during the DX / SES mini-feud before Show-Miz won the titles.

I'd say Rock vs. HBK would be the biggest one...

I'd say Rock vs. HBK would be the biggest one... I'd probably say Austin / Goldberg. Yeah, Goldberg hadn't debuted at the time Austin retired but he'd been signed and he debuted the next night, so close enough. Edit: And for that matter at a time Austin and Hogan were on the roster together. Were in a tag match against each other but not one-on-one.

Hogan vs Giant Gonzales. Yeah I know it would be worse than the match with Taker, but I'm sure when we were kids we were kinda thinking. By the way is this for real? www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDIQHDswEyMBy the way, is embedding this a violation? This isn't technically footage, but rather a picture.
