Ok, obviously not too good at this...hmmmm Foley v Jericho? And we now know a dude who hasn't read Jericho's books.... ---------- Are we going WWE here or never ever? If just WWE, Hogan vs. Bret. All time? No idea.

Did Rikishi vs Mark Henry ever happen? Not when he was Rikishi, but they wrestled when he was in his Sultan gimmick.

Hogan vs Giant Gonzales. Yeah I know it would be worse than the match with Taker, but I'm sure when we were kids we were kinda thinking. By the way is this for real? www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDIQHDswEyMBy the way, is embedding this a violation? This isn't technically footage, but rather a picture. We're going to err on the side of caution and remove the embedding. And by the way, I'm going to remind you - and everyone else reading this - to not post something if you're unsure it's against the rules. If you have any doubt, then don't post it at all. Check with a mod first. Do not risk a warning.

A few others I could think of:
Goldberg vs. Randy Savage (WCW match, but still a big match that never happened.) CM Punk vs. Kevin Nash (was supposed to happen, but Nash couldn't get the clearance to wrestle.) Rey Mysterio vs. Sin Cara

Undertaker vs Eddie Guerrero.
They were in a fatal four way at armageddon 2004. I remember rumors about them having a match at SummerSlam 04, but JBL ended up winning the title.

Did Bret and Bader ever have a televised singles match? I imagine it being far better than either man's encounters with Shawn at that point in time.

Looks to be legit: WWF @ Huntington, WV - Civic Center - June 15, 1993 (4,400) WWF Superstars taping: Hulk Hogan & Brutus Beefcake (w/ Crush) defeated Ted Dibiase & IRS (w/ Giant Gonzalez) in a lumberjack match

And as for my answer, I'm very sure that we've never seen Del Rio and Sheamus go at it.

That's not Jake, it's Bart Gunn, with Billy by his side and mostly obscured by Gonzalez's leg.

They wrestled in singles matches only on House Shows. One of the former WWE writers (maybe Alex Greenfield?) talked about these matches on an MLW podcast. He put them over as some of the best matches he has ever seen.

I know they did face off before, but given such a shitty feud because of AJ, I cannot believe Punk and Bryan never got a marquee match with the two in their primes (i.e. BITW Punk and the current incarnation of Bryan).

They wrestled in 2001 in OVW. It's on YouTube. Not sure if that exactly counts to you, but it's there to watch.

outside of Yokozuna, did Lex Luger ever wrestle any of the big names of the new generation era (Bret, Michaels, Undertaker, Ramon, Diesel) one on one?
