I seem to remember Rob Conway being the most ripped Gary Sinise possible to losing a lot of definition toward the end

There are no pics, but Zack Ryder and Darren Young seem a lot bigger then before. Ryder there's photos of him going through a bulking faze.
I think Big Cass is doing that as well. The past few times on NXT, he looks like he put on a big of a gut, but that could be him bulking up before cutting. I chalked Rose's South African physique to steroids and I felt he looked in good shape when he was Leo Kruger from 2012.

I remember reading Rob Conway had a f***ed up crazy diet when he did the original gimmick and just simply got off that diet later on. Why would he when he's just jobbing out.

One recent notable one with a pretty good reason- Alex Riley. When he was wrestling somewhat regularly, he looked relatively impressive for his stuff. Cut to last week's match with CJ Parker and his "TV" return, and he looked at least 10-15 years older than his last run- and considering he'd only been outside the ring for about two years, that's not a compliment. He's not that young blue chipper kid anymore. He's a veteran who resents wasting away most of his prime years on the sidelines in a cage taking a shit on the commentary table...WATCHING EVERYONE ELSE EAT!!! And he doesn't look that much older. All he has to do is ditch the stubble and style up his hair a bit, and he looks almost as he did two years ago. Although I have to admit that I don't like the extra mass he's put on. Riley's tall and jacked, but since he's not really a power wrestler and Mostly runs around the ring like a sugar high six year old and is now adding "flippy shit" to it, is there much of a point?

You can't tell me WWE has a loophole with there HGH / steroids This guys are on the road constantly There's no need for a loophole with HGH because the WWE doesn't test for it. Don't know about steroids though, as you do occasionally see superstars get wellness violations because of it.

I saw him at a show on Thurs night and he looked like he was getting leaner, was kind of getting ripped.

I think sometimes people underestimate the difference studio lighting and "the pump" can have on perceived muscle mass. In this case, I'm not talking about roids, but that when you are working out, you're going to look huger to a degree. Of course Rock looks scary at the gym, he's flexing, not being washed out by WWE's lighting in the ring, and he's in the middle of weight training. That said, he is definitely bulkier than when he finished up in WWE, where he seemed leaner, probably since glamorous ripped muscles were less practical to him at that stage compared to being leaner and more functional.
Also helps his costars tend to be smaller than professional wrestlers, too, nowadays.

Realistically, I'd imagine it's possible some people look the other way, but they might just be like other athletes and look around for stuff that isn't tested for, etc. That said, this sort of thing is kind of hard to predict and speculate on. I recall Lance Storm saying that ultimately he didn't need to do weight training and just cardio when wrestling enough because you got plenty of lifting in there, of actual people. Of course, it's not like he was a body builder or immaculately sculpted , but he wasn't small, either, and even if on roids, you still need to work out a lot or you just get really fat and pimply from my understanding of it.

Late indies or OVW (I remember on one of Colt's podcasts he said he was "up to 240" in order to look big enough to get called up). ECW 2009 2012 Also, another thing, looking up CM Punk pics, it's sad how they felt the need to photoshop abs onto his promo pics, not to mention video games and action figures.

I still wonder how Jake Roberts got away with having no physique whatsoever considering Vince was his boss

This is why I can't get behind CM Punk as a downtrodden "little guy". He wasn't some "woe is me" down on his luck wrestler with crappy genetics who couldn't get any bigger no matter how much work he put in at the gym. He just...stopped. Punk was perfectly capable of being that jacked guy Vince creamed over, and since he's straight edge, he was obviously doing it cleanly.

It actually is in their list of banned substances, but I think I'd expect them to buy out TNA before ever suspending someone for HGH again.

Punk was perfectly capable of being that jacked guy Vince creamed over, and since he's straight edge, he was obviously doing it cleanly. Exactly. Plenty of guys can look good and fit naturally. Even a smaller, somewhat chunky guy like Sami Zayn looks great compared to Punk. I don't care if CM Punk was running marathons during 2009-2012... he looked like shit. 2013 I can somewhat understand with his health problems. If I could be serious for a second (ignoring my creepy looks-obsessed satirical Vince McMahon-esque gimmick on here) WWE is a looks-driven business... just look at the dude in the too-tight pink undies and tell me he looks good enough to be your champ. Yes, I know, he is completely overshadowed by John "I have enough money to buy designer drugs that aren't caught by wellness policy tests" Cena, but the fact remains... Punk could have helped his own career out by training better and eating smarter.
