They aren't going to announce an alternate Sting, since it would pretty much be considered a duplicate. But if we go by the Big Show/Paul Wight reasoning, different movesets and stats (remember, Classic Sting didn't have the Scorpion Death Drop, for one). The difference there is Sting is still Sting, Big Show was known as "Big Nasty" Paul Wight. In last year's game Surfer Sting was Sting '91 and Crow Sting was Sting '99. Them specifically using "Paul Wight" instead of "The Big Show (Retro)" like they used a couple of years ago is telling.

Yes, because he had a vastly different moveset when he debuted. If he was just an alt attire, 1999 Big Show would still have the knockout punch as a finisher, have a spear as a signature move, the cobra clutch backbreaker, etc. Separate slots are necessary when movesets get involved. Don't all of the game characters have a more expansive moveset than what they actually do in real life? One character could have all the moves from both personas. And don't all the game characters have two finishers where Big Show could have both the knockout punch AND the chokeslam? Yeah, but people like me HATE that. The default movesets in these games typically suck something fierce. I've spent countless hourse editing them to be accurate, and there's actually a whole community on the WWE game forums that spend hours studying matches and making 100% accurate movesets. I know it's anal retentive, but it makes the game so much more fun for a lot of us.

Also, I love how they revealed the roster spots on IGN,and they can't even get the page to direct properly, so no one can see the write up now. IGN is the absolute drizzling shits. They need to go with Kotaku or GameInformer next year. Doesn't help that IGN's video player is utter, utter wank. I swear to god, can never go more than 5 seconds without needing a breather. On that note, here's Dude's entrance on Youtube: Also, Vader vs Brock's gonna be my first match.

^If Alex Riley isn't AT LEAST DLC, I will be pissed. I think it would be a dick move to end all dick moves if literally EVERYONE is in the game except him. You mean the dude who was a commentator for most of the year, worked for like two months then get injured? C'mon man, it's not a grand witchhunt/grand dick move against the dude if he's not in a damn video game.

It's a crime that he was diminished to the point that he wouldn't be considered for the games over he years to begin with. Imo, It's a dick move that he was a commentator in the first place. It's not that he's not in the game. It's that he's not in the game, and pretty much every single person employed by the company is.

Not that I expect it to be, but would love the DLC packs to be a "WCW Arenas/Superstars/Moves" pack and a "ECW Arenas/Superstars/Moves" pack.

If he wasn't a commentator he probably would of been fired If he wasn't a commentator, he'd still be fairly liked, at least enough where people would say he was a "wasted potential". And if he were fired a while ago, when WWE decided he was of no value to them, he could've revamped his career elsewhere.

The fact that in a business like WWE not everyone is guaranteed to be a star? I get you like the dude and all but if he was going to be anything more than he is, it's going to have happened by now. Instead he got stuck in NXT, became a subpar commentator, got put in a feud with someone who vastly outclassed him and then got injured. He's not been active long enough to be a name that's worth putting in the game. Look at who has been announced from NXT so far, it's the big names that are on the Takeovers and such. They're not putting every Tom, Dick and Harry from NXT in the game even as DLC. I can't imagine many people are going to see Alex Riley DLC and go "I MUST HAVE THAT". Call me when Sylvester LeFort or Marcus Louis gets in ahead of Alex Riley then we'll talk about how "pretty much every single person employed by the company" is in the game. There is hyperbole and then there is your post.

But it's still really noticeable when quite a handful of Guys who haven't featured heavily in forever are still in the game and he isn't. At least let him make some extra money in video game royalties if nothing else.

At least let him make some extra money in video game royalties if nothing else. Yo it's not a charity thing. "Oh he needs the money. Let's spend money to put him even though he's been irrelevant for years at this point." Come on.
