"Now they can push (X)!" - Apparently only one woman can be pushed at a time. Well, that much I think is accurate. How often do you see two Divas feuds happening at the same time on the main shows?

Well, that much I think is accurate. How often do you see two Divas feuds happening at the same time on the main shows? Again, that's not AJ's fault No need to get defensive, I never said it was. AJ was by far the best female performer WWE's had since Trish and Lita, and was more than deserving to "hog the spotlight", but that doesn't negate the fact that WWE just doesn't give enough airtime on Raw and SD any more to have more than one Diva feud going at once. Ironically, most of 2014. You had the Divas Title feud and the Bella saga for most of the year. That's the exception to the rule though, and only because you had Stephanie involved which somewhat defeats the point. The actual Brie vs. Nikki angle only ran from late-August to October.

To be real honest though, as much as she gets undeserved hate, and she does; she's VASTLY overrated as well. She is/was decent on the mic and good in the ring, but that's really about as far as it went. I won't deny her being over, but it'd be hard not to be with the sorta screentime she got. Hell, Kelly Kelly was over too at point. And don't get confused, I'm not equating the two talent wise, AJ was certainly better and is talented. But at the same time, people throw this "best since Trish/Lita thing" around as if there weren't multiple talented women around as well on par with AJ.
Hell, Michelle Mccool got uber hate, but for the most part was just as skilled as AJ in most facets. Mickie was all around better in just about every category. Molly was better in the ring, Victoria too.
AJ is certainly talented, but the only reason she stood head and shoulders above say a Natalya is how heavily she was featured. As has been mentioned, that's on booking, not on her, but she certainly benefit from it.
In a way, both viewpoints are a little extreme. She simultaneously gets too much scorn and too much praise.

This. She's talented, but she was VERY lucky to get the push she did that allowed her to seem so far elevated above everyone else. The thing is though, aside from one notable exception (mentioning no names but we all know who) I rarely see anyone on here proclaim her the best ever and head and shoulders above everyone else and outright refuse to acknowledge any possible shortcomings of hers. Her fans (on this forum) seem quite aware of her strengths and weaknesses. Only WWE and complete marks who believe everything WWE tells them seem to put her on a different level from all of her peers.

From what I've seen, it falls into the following catagories: "She was stale!" - As opposed to who? The other women? They are all stale. Blame the writers. "She hogged all the screentime" - Yeah that two minutes every other week was precious. "Now they can push (X)!" - Apparently only one woman can be pushed at a time. The rest is typical trollish stuff. Or a difference of opinion from people who don't like her, so stop.

Opinions should have some sort of rational argument behind them, otherwise any blanket statement, unsupported assertion or unverifiable claim would have to be given equal validity and weight in a debate.

How is "I don't like AJ because I think she was a poor performer" not a rational argument?

How is "I don't like AJ because I think she was a poor performer" not a rational argument? Because the person making that claim should at least explain what criteria they judge a performer as "poor". Not just for her, but any wrestler.

Not just for her, but any wrestler. She was a poor performer because I thought she was a horrible actor. A little girl playing wrestler in her bedroom. That's what I thought of AJ. If you don't agree with it, fine, but don't sit there and say it's not a valid opinion.
