I really don't see the tweet with the jab at her tattoo to be that big of a deal.

I really don't see the tweet with the jab at her tattoo to be that big of a deal. As I said earlier, it indicates a wider warped mentality in this company about paradoxically mocking people who have/had a passion for the business, and also a jabroni mocking someone who reached a far higher level of stardom than he ever has.

If we're going by the logic of "well, if you aren't as successful as someone, you can't make negative comments about them!", why does this board even exist? That's an absurd concept. It doesn't matter if you're rich or a bum, nobody should be free from criticism.

The comment itself is petty and it's perfectly fine if you think it's douchey. I'm just pointing out that it's not fair at all to blow it off simply because it came from Riley. If you want to write off the comment itself, go right ahead.

Maybe he was poking fun? Much like everyone here does on a daily basis to the talent they don't like?

It doesn't matter if you're rich or a bum, nobody should be free from criticism. True, but what exactly is he criticising her for? What's his point of contention? Well, he didn't like her. And he's expressing that viewpoint. Seemed pretty simple to understand to me. Why he doesn't like her, who knows, but obviously there's some kind of heat there. Again, I'm not arguing whether or not it's douchey. That's up to the reader. But, his career should have nothing to do with how valid the comment is.

When you have a guy who's mocking a far more successful performer and not providing any specific argument as to why, it comes across as envious and bitter, and I think that does undermine his validity until at least he expands upon it with something more substantial.

Yeah, it doesn't really matter to me that Riley said it except for that that it further validates my indifference to me. And that it's a very random grudge he seems to hold. I'd actually agree with Hit Girl that there is seemingly a trend of young guys who are confused by things like #GiveDivasAChance. I can see how it might play into Riley's dislike since AJ, even now, is more of a name than most low-card workers.

He worked with AJ. He knows her personality. If anybody would have a good reason to rag on her, it'd be him. What he did in his career has less than nothing to do with his personal experiences with AJ. And no, he absolutely should not have to go into specifics. Maybe he just thinks she's a bitch. In life, there are some people that just rub you the wrong way. That's humans. I've had jobs where I've outright hated some of the people I worked with. A few of them, I didn't even have a specific reason. I just flat out didn't like them. Did I say it to their face? Of course not because it's a professional setting and I needed to behave that way. But, those feelings didn't go away. Was Riley's comment bitter? Sure but he's more than welcome to express that viewpoint.

All this debate about someone who appears to be a compulsive attention seeker posting an attention-seeking tweet designed to rile people up. Probably mission accomplished as far as A-Ry's concerned.

But he should've at least had the balls to tweet the joke at her. If your gonna do it, then do it right.

Respond to the comment however you want but on-screen stuff shouldn't be a factor here.
