AJ is soft like Drake. The only reason why she retired is so she wouldn't have to deal with the One True Destroyer, Ronda Rousey! Ftfy

She made her money, got name recognition, affected peoples lives and lived out her dream. Pretty sweet run she had fron a personal perspective.
I wish all the best and glad she left on her own terms.

The shelf life on divas is so small.
WWE must really suck for someone like AJ or even Beth Phoenix back when to work so hard to achieve there dreams and be done fairly quick.
And please don't argue with me. My head hurts.

The only reason why Ronda can still use that arm is because Steph didn't want to embarrass her on PPV. After all, that UFC stuff is a work. That's why pussy ass CM Punk is going there, couldn't handle real fighting.

I wanted to like AJ, I really did but she just never clicked with me. Good luck to her though.

One of the best to ever do it. Future Hall of Famer. Hope she finds continued happiness and health.

I'll always remember her as the first person I so disliked that I would not stop at changing the channel when she was on but rather have to turn the television completely off.

And please don't argue with me. My head hurts. You're right on the first part, though I don't know if it's WWE's doing or not. But divas are certainly not lifers, leaving in their early 30s or even their 20s is an obvious trend.

Not really shocking, she didn't seem very much into it over the last year. She had a pretty good run, went out with a Mania win, and Bayley got some love in her last appearance. Fare thee well.

I thought her and Paige's hug at Mania seemed a little bit more than celebratory, and I thought the same of the hug she gave Naomi on Raw, and the she wasn't on smackdown and Paige teamed with Emma on ME. I knew thought something might be up. It is a little weird that she came back, got a Mania match, and made Nikki tap. Only to retire. But we've heard time and again that Vince loved her. So, maybe that's why.
I'm an unabashed AJ mark. And I'll miss her a lot. But her lengthy absences, make this easier to take. What've loved to see her and Bayley together, though.

To be real honest, I almost wish more performers would have their time on top, then get out while they still have their health and fans interest. It's much better than the alternative.

If this is true then good on her for leaving on her own terms.
Shame though as she was pretty much one of the few Divas that didn't make me want to take a piss break whenever they are on.

that news article is very odd, does it mean she's gone from double double e, or is she gonna be on different role now.

Aww. Well. At least Paige is now firmly set as Face star 1 to The Bellas, and a spot for Bliss or Bayley just opened up.

So she waited for a week after Mania to do this, getting on the biggest show on the year and sharing the spotlight where she could of used the fact she was to retire to help someone? Pretty shitty

Pretty shitty You have no idea what she did. WWE may have known about this for some time. Or her contract expired and she didn't renew. It could be anything. We're only hearing about it now, it doesn't mean WWE is, too.

My heart is broken... It hurts now, but we must move forward and keep Ms. April Brooks in our memory. It'll make it all the more better when Bayley wins the Divas Championship at WM32 wearing a "I Dig Crazy Chicks" t-shirt.
