As this sinks in I'm way more excited for attending Extreme Rules/MITB/Summerslam with the consoling thought that there should be zero AJ Lee. FEELS GREAT!

Her website is down too. Could have crashed from traffic or she's dead to the world now.
*Edit - It's back up now*

AJ is soft like Drake. The only reason why she retired is so she wouldn't have to deal with the One True Destroyer, Stephanie McMahon! So, you're saying at Punk's UFC debut I should expect to see AJ lint rolling her jeans ringside?

The shelf life on divas is so small. WWE must really suck for someone like AJ or even Beth Phoenix back when to work so hard to achieve there dreams and be done fairly quick. And please don't argue with me. My head hurts. You're right on the first part, though I don't know if it's WWE's doing or not. But divas are certainly not lifers, leaving in their early 30s or even their 20s is an obvious trend. The only exception to this is Layla, who's in her 9th year and in her mid-30s but still around. Although she's been taking frequent 6 or so month breaks since like 2012.

Not shocking. She's looked completely listless for the past year and a half pretty much.
Let the UFC wild speculation begin!

"Vince McMahon is reportedly more pissed off than he's ever been pissed off at being told that he's pissed off at this news."

So she waited for a week after Mania to do this, getting on the biggest show on the year and sharing the spotlight where she could of used the fact she was to retire to help someone? Pretty shitty You have no idea what she did. WWE may have known about this for some time. Or her contract expired and she didn't renew. It could be anything. We're only hearing about it now, it doesn't mean WWE is, too. But if she had this in mind for weeks or months why wouldn't the "saviour of the divas division" the queen bee go "right, have *NAME* take me out"

Pretty shitty She's under no obligations to do any of that though. And missing out on what's likely the biggest payday of the year would just be a dumb decision.

Which would also help Paige. It's hardly AJ's fault that WWE booked her to win.

Make your money and get out, that's the logic all wrestlers should follow. She essentially went out on top by having a match at Mania and retired. No shame in that. Besides, she had already put over the Bellas several times. Losing to them again would have had no benefit.

Sometimes you wait for something to happen and you wait and you wait and when it happens it doesn't live up to expectations.
AND SOMETIMES IT'S JUST AS AWESOME AS YOU THOUGHT IT WOULD BE!
WOOOO!
The only thing that could make this better is McCool un-retiring, LAYCOOL REBORN!
