Glad they put their foot down, I was supposed to attend that train wreck in Memphis. Can only imagine telling the wife that's part of the show.
Thank goodness she gave birth to our child that afternoon; that was more enjoyable than SVDM.

in recent memory one of the worst is the bella's storyline. For them to just drop it without any payoff or explanation after how much time they put into it was really stupid. Mind you, i'm glad they did though because the storyline sucked and no one cared but still that was pathetic. That had to do with Total Divas apparently. They were going to feud on Total Divas, but then they decided to do a Bellas/someone vs Paige/Alicia/someone feud or something like that on Total Divas so they had to put them back together. I presume this is happening in the next season.

Did they ever explain why Paul Burchill wasn't a pirate anymore?

-That AJ and Vickie thing where AJ went insane and started throwing a tantrum on a steal chair. -They teased the Big E and AJ being a couple. -They dropped the AJ and Kaitlyn feud weeks before Mania then resumed after. -Barrett's favor to Heyman -Alberto Del Rio, the delusional people's champion which lasted for like 2 weeks before Cena decided to go after him. -Somewhere along the way Brodus stopped talking in the ring and toned down a few mannerisms. -Mcmahon and HHH power struggle prior to Trips heel turn at Summerslam. -that demonic Wyatt kid -Dibiase's brother helping Legacy it was weird they shrugged it off like it was nothing "yeah it was Dibiase's brother" then moved on.

remember Charlie Haas randomly putting on a luchadore mask in the middle of his matches? Remember him being Shelton's embarrassing black friend? Remember when they implied that Shelton and Charlie Haas (one of them anyway) had a thing for his tag partner ala Billy and Chuck. I think it lasted one week and was never brought up again.

Thankfully Ziggler's "TURD" chant didn't spawn Bryan parody shirts (ala STEPH! STEPH! STEPH!) You know what the payoff for that whole thing was? TWO signs in the crowd. That's it. And the thing people were most worried about, that being JBL bringing it up all the time? He NEVER even mentioned it. If this was a legitimate attempt to undermine Bryan's popularity, then they even half-assed doing THAT.

The Fandango, Layla, Summer Rae angle. They first dropped trying to push Summer Rae when they realized that the crowd didn't care about her, and then after putting Layla/Summer together the story was dropped quickly when they realized that the crowd still preferred Fandango over them.

remember when JR was a heel after coming back from his Bells Palsy and aligned himself with Dr Death Steve Williams....remember how Dr Death was introduced? by wear an orange overall and a "KI-BUKI-MASK!" and pushed Bart Gunn off the top of the ramp on RAW. remember then the next week JR and Dr Death came out and blamed creative for putting Dr Death under a mask and it was never mentioned again? Russo had a thing for Gimmick denouncing that year. He did it with JR/Dr Death, Chaz/Beaver Cleavage and then with Seven/Dustin Runnels in WCW. He'd also done a similar angle with Goldust burning his suit in 1998. Making a bad gimmick just so you can yell about it being bad on TV is so clown shoes that it goes beyond that and is like a clown shoes/pants combo.

Edge vowing to rid WWE of stupid things, starting with the Anonymous GM and continuing with... nothing else. And completely undermined by the fact that almost immediately right after that Edge went into an angle where he kidnapped Paul Barer dragged him across multiple state lines and managed to cartoonishly fake out Kane every time he was about to rescue Paul.

Going back a long time....
The third Islander. One week, Haku and Tama came out with a new Islander w/ no explanation, and after a few matches as a trio, the group ended.

That would have been "High Chief" Sivi Afi, also known as the poorly-received new "Superfly", replacing Jimmy Snuka when he left the WWF after the first WrestleMania.
