Trevor Murdoch randomly singing "I have friends in low places" (I think), and then released the week after That's not how it happened. After a tag match they lost while on a losing streak, Murdoch takes the mic and with no preface sings "I have friends in low places." He actually did a great job, played it with a touch of subtlety that you don't see much in WWE, especially during this obnoxious period as the ruthless aggression era was transitioning into the PG era which made everything super telegraphed and over-the-top. It connected with a lot of people and the crowd took to the group because they liked Murdoch's voice and, frankly, because of how refreshing it was. So the team began having a hot streak for a few weeks, winning matches, all either beginning or ending with Murdoch singing. At one point, after a match, Cade cuts a heartfelt promo saying he thinks Murdoch's singing is what helped turn the team around and then asks him to sing. As Murdoch's singing, Cade attacks him. The next week they have a one-on-one match on Raw that Cade wins. Murdoch's kept off TV for a few weeks, Michael Hayes (who was Smackdown's head writer at the time) was really pushing for Murdoch to come to Smackdown. Hayes gets suspended for the Mark Henry comments, and since this is the transitioning into PG era as well as there still being a lot of media scrutiny fear from WWE due to the Benoit tragedy happening just under a year prior, there's a lot of thought that Hayes might not ever return tot he company. After three weeks off TV, Murdoch is drafted to a Hayes-less Smackdown. With seemingly nobody on the brand wanting to go to bat for him, that same week Murdoch asked for his release and (IIRC, pleae correct me if I'm wrong) was given it on terms so good, they let him wrestle in Japan less than 30 days later. If you play Smackdown vs Raw 2009, Murdoch's character in the game, the design/Titantron/music etc., was (again IIRC) all based on what Hayes envisioned for the character and a glimpse into what might have been. In retrospect, I'm surprised Murdoch never resurfaced in the company. He knew how to connect with a crowd and seemed to show quite a bit of range as a performer. Last I heard, I believe he has some role in Global Force Wrestling.

Edge vowing to rid WWE of stupid things, starting with the Anonymous GM and continuing with... nothing else. He also speared the Swagger Soaring Eagle. Don't you mean "THE THWAGGER THOARING EAGLE?!?!?"

Damien Sandow becoming SRS and aggressive because he was pissed off at DX. This also involved him beating former World Heavyweight Champion Christian in two minutes by no selling a distraction from Brodus Clay's music.

Did that Snitsky~Heidenreich conversation/heavy breathing ever amount to anything? Yeah, Snitsky ended helping Heidenreich in his casket match with Taker at the same PPV. Kane made the save. It was supposed to lead to a tag match at WrestleMania but then they realised Orton didn't have a major match.

"The New and Improved" Brown-Haired Dolph "King Sheamus" (could have been a cool traditional Evil Gaelic King gimmick but was promptly dropped and his King of The Ring victory was barely spoken of again) All Things Ernest Miller Brakus (Hyped for months, debuted 2 years later, lost in the Brawl For All and jobbed hard in an ECW talent exchange) Tom Magee (only wrestled one or two televised matches) Public Enemy in WWF circa 1999 Mike Knox post-WWECW Dolph looked better with the short brown hair, gave him that Bobby Roode edge. Better than Ramen noodles.

They had to promote the release of See No Evil on dvd so they started the May 19th thing. Then they got there, and had no idea what to do at that point. So take Kane. And he took the guys mask off. The end. May 19th ended up being a random episode of SmackDown. JBL asked Rey Mysterio what day it was then Kane murdered him. The original plan was actually for Kane to beat Rey for the title that night.

Better than Ramen noodles. Disagree. The blonde hair made him stand out. The brown hair made him look like Evan Bourne's older brother. It'd be like changing his name to Nic Nemeth. Sure it's a "better" name but where's the heart? His best look was the short blonde hair he rocked after he dyed his hair back. It stood out but he didn't look like a noodle head.

Rosa Mendes having a thing for Alberto Del Rio.
They must have tried that same angle like on 3 separate occasions, but it never went anywhere.

Edge and Christian's lawsuit That got shoved under the carpet. Kane read a statement saying, that the authority had no idea what would happen, Seth acted on his own, so you can't sue. And that was it, never mentioned again.

Last I heard, I believe he has some role in Global Force Wrestling. better? The way I remembered it was they lost a match and Murdoch started singing and then a few more matches he sang but they'd also lost and Cade was pissed. It came off as Trevor trying to calm him and remind him that they were partners and friends despite his frustration. Didn't he even do a version of 'stand by your man'? Then just when it seemed like Cade was going to get over his anger and the team was happy again he turned on him. Maybe I'm not remembering correctly. Also, I was surprised when Murdoch vanished. At the time when JR was still head of talent relations or something like that and blogging I remember at least once where he sang big praises about Murdoch. Also, Mideon in a thong 'streaking'. Whatever came of that?

^Didn't Taker just randomly kidnap him and use a dagger on him? Thus Mideon was born.
Road Dogg said him and Mideon never went to the gym once. Products of the time.

I think the streaking thing was post-corporate-ministry Mideon when they weren't sure what to do with the leftover guys after it disbanded.

It was never revealed who attacked Edge at No Way Out 2003. Rumours were that it was Nathan Jones and he had left by the time Edge returned, but they could have said it was someone else.
