Huh. I always thought it was pre-Ministry That was definitely post-Ministry as before the Ministry Mideon was part of the Southern Justice tag team and backing up Jeff Jarrett. He also wasn't called Mideon.

Zack Ryder & Rosa Mendes only splitting up because Rosa was drafted to SmackDown.
They were a fun couple. I liked them together.

Remember Brutus Beefcake's masked persona from 1991? After his parasailing accident took Beefcake off tv for some time, this masked man would run in and attack heels after their matches. He would knock out foes with a headbutt (the metal in his head appearently adding extra force) before running off. Then suddenly the character was dropped. He never wrestled a match, they never explained who he was. The character was never even given a name (although some fans called him Fur Face, despite the fact that the man wore no fur.)

Not WWE...but the Giant helping Chris Jericho win the TV Title. Maybe that's why Jericho picked him to replace Edge.

Rosa Mendes having a thing for Alberto Del Rio. They must have tried that same angle like on 3 separate occasions, but it never went anywhere. Remember when Del Rio was in a wheelchair for a groin injury and the Bellas wheeled him out for a promo or something, then proceeded to get into an argument/fight, which gave Del Rio a boner, which hurt him very badly?

Remember when he showed up to express his support for John Laurinaitis then promptly disappeared? Remember when Christian showed up for the same purpose, got murdered by Punk, then randomly came back as a face?

Pretty sure it was more than implied and was stated at one point. It probably was. Still a stupid resolution. Congrats, Brie. Your sister treated you like crap, won the title, and as a rewar.... you're her sidekick Total Divas is canon in WWE, so with that said, Brie deserved it. For no reason at all she and Brother Bella tried to end Nikki and Cena's relationship. Nikki was the face in all of that, and Brie was getting everything she deserved.

Not WWE...but the Giant helping Chris Jericho win the TV Title. I believe it was to further the storyline over Stevie Ray (who lost the title) potentially joining nWo Hollywood after he had initially refused the offer. I suppose the Giant was trying to show him what could happen if he stayed on their bad side.

I always took it as they were gonna try and recruit Jericho.

Not really storylines but...
Jerry Lawler getting new music for like a week leading up to his Wrestlemania match against Cole.
Orton and This Fire burns and Finlay's Celtic Rock theme... are other music changes that were dropped after a week..

Remember when they had Viscera trying to court Lillian, had him succeed only to then drop her for some of Godfather's hos, then ignored that and had him start going after her again only to turn heel and align with Charlie Haas for some reason?

Darren Young has a new screeching theme song, interrupts Barret vs Orton to say he's the "missing link", promptly gets RKO'd.

It was never revealed who attacked Edge at No Way Out 2003. Rumours were that it was Nathan Jones and he had left by the time Edge returned, but they could have said it was someone else. Wasn't it directly stated that it was Team Angle?

"Braden Walker!" chant is the greatest of all time.

Thing about that is that when Edge came back, the newz was that they had no intentions of calling back to it and most everyone bitched and moaned about throwing away a ready-made angle. But seeing that Edge turned heel not long after returning, maybe that's why they decided to drop it. Actually, Edge didn't turn heel until six months after returning.

Darren Young's theme is a source of amusement for me, mostly because it points how little focus the lower card has in the company so many times. As for a time, Darren Young and Tyler Reks had the same damn theme song, except that Darren's had lyrics and some extra screech.
