The one thing more insane than incredibly cheap and crappy knock-offs is incredibly high-quality knock-offs. This is not Mad Max, it's "Wasteland Ranger" by Virtual Toys VTS. It's pretty obvious that they made this with the intention of acquiring an official license but for whatever reason couldn't secure or afford it so they slapped a generic name on it and man these look good. They even managed to create a very realistic face without making it look creepy. It looks like every piece of clothing is removable (ladies) since the site I got those pictures from shows him without the jacket in a recreation of when Max held the women at gunpoint to help him take off the mouth guard thing. Man, if I could afford one of these, I would have already ordered one but unfortunately they are expensive as hell as you can probably imagine. Wow, that's really awesome. That's Hot Toys quality.

Although very fast and powerful. He could never thwart his enemy, Narrow doorway. Sun-Man! Fighter of the Evening-Man! Vanguard of the Day! Master of Kung-Fu and Camaraderie for everyone! That's an Always Sunny reference

I googled Virtual Toys VTS.
They've actually made a Steven Seagal knock off action figure.

I googled Virtual Toys VTS. They've actually made a Steven Seagal knock off action figure. There's also this knockoff of Juliet from Lollipop Chainsaw There's also one of Tom Cruise from one of the Mission: Impossible films subtly called Agent Hunter, one based on a female Judge Dredd character (don't know her name, sorry, but I do believe she's an actual character form the comics and I'm guessing the newest film since her outfit seems to be based on that design) and they actually used fabric for the hair on that one, and one based on Watch Dogs called ST'ALKER Adam Pearce. Oddly, the face, while still very realistic and detailed, isn't very close to the original on that one. Guess they figured since they used the name of an unrelated gaming franchise and kept the name so close, they'd play it safe with the likeness. You can find their products here: www.v-storebiz.com/brands/Virtual-Toys-VTS.htmlOddly, there's a head sold separately as "Explorer" which I'm not 100% sure but may be based on the default male face from Fallout 4.

Either way, it's odd that none of their figures based one existing franchises have any official licensing. I'm guessing they'd try to get them since they're obviously not a cheap cash-in company and hire very talented artists and use high-end tools and materials, and you'd think being officially licensed would allow them to promote their toys more and generate more sales. Maybe they just weren't lucky with getting positive answers although that'd be a surprise because if I were the copyright owners of those franchise, I would love to have these guys do my figures.
