Good episode, shit just got real. GoT needed this, it had been a rather boring season to this point.

Also, this episode comforted me in my belief that HBO needs to make a Mortal Kombat TV series. They showed they aren't afraid to show gore, they can make great, elaborate costumes, they have the means to pull off the special effects and they can make great action sequences. Plus they could just recycle the GoT sets for Outworld.
Assign a couple decent writers to it and we could finally have a way to clean up the MK canon.

As amazing as this episode was, I mean I think I only liked 'Blackwater' as much, I don't get why people say it 'saved' the season. I've been loving this season, maybe because it's the first time I've watched this show with no idea what's coming next.
Also, in 20 minutes Game of Thrones did a more awesome, horrifying zombie attack than the Walking Dead has done in all of their 5 seasons combined.

Someone might have spoiled the show for me... So a question for the book readers {Spoiler}Does Jon die in the book and will it happen this season? That's what I was told at work today.

Awesome episode. I felt a fair amount of exposition got done, and the ending was f***ing intense! Really enjoyed it!
And I'll second that Tormund's a badass. I always liked him, but he really shined in this episode!
Oh, and I thought Longclaw might save Jon. With all the hype behind Valyrian steel, I figured it'd at least stand up to the Walker's blade.

We have no idea what happens after that.

I'm just glad Edd made it. I seriously thought he'd die. Kudos to Wun Wun. Of the named trio of Jon, Tormund and Edd; Edd was certainly the most expendable. Though credit where it's due, that sequence was so intense at one point I thought even Jon was up for grabs. It was a great decision to have Sam say "he always comes back" as saying silly things like that is usually a bad idea, it made that battle even more intense.

There's no way I see Jon Snow dying anytime soon. It's basically his story in the north and at the Wall. If he dies, whose point of view carries what will probably be the biggest story moving forward? Sam? A wildling? Somebody else at the Wall? Jon has to be the one to lead the battle against the white walkers and keep us invested in this part of the world.

I finally got to see the most recent episode. The siege of the Wilding camp was amazing. I always get a little leery when the show dabbles in the more magical elements of the world it's built but everything with the zombies and white walkers worked perfectly. And that ending did a perfect job showing exactly how serious the stakes are.

I'm glad they showed how much of a threat the White Walkers were in this episode, in case you forgot about them. Jon Snow, Tormund and whoever is left will have quite the story to tell the others. I thought the Giant wasn't going to make it, but glad to see he made it to sea and swam with the others. Chalk this one up as a massive L for the Crows/Wildlings crew.

Hmmm....I can see why Jon Snow would need help from the Wildlings. It's not every day you have to deal with the {Spoiler}FREAKING ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE LEAD BY ICE WIZARDS!!!!

For the last couple of days I've been wearing a Littlefinger pin I got for Christmas. The amount of people who've come up and asked me if it's the Hunger Games pin is baffling. ![http://s17.postimg.org/mavxf8oa7/4932.png](http://s17.postimg.org/mavxf8oa7/4932.png) I mean they're not even close!

Then Stabs Olly! f***ing Olly.
