Zayn injured his shoulder during his entrance when he walks up the ring steps.

Felt for sure this was a worked injury because of Sami's amazing job at selling it - now I know why he was amazing at it, it was real - and I thought it would give the number 1 contender for the NXT title an excuse for losing clean on a show before the next NXT show.
I hope Sami is okay. He's a champ to work through an early injury tonight and still give us a great match.

Hopefully they have Alex Riley avenge Sami Zayn against Cena AND Kevin Owens at Takerover. Sadly, Riley took off to fix some arthritis in his knee (may or may not be a work, since for some weird reason they're connecting that to Owens) and likely won't be back until after Takeover. And even if he wasn't also out, not funny.

It's honestly a moment that would probably forever make Zayn with the crowd, the boys, and Vince McMahon if it is revealed to be serious. Dude was thrown in the shittiest situation of getting injured right away in his hometown with Bret Hart making his big entrance against a match against Cena and continued to work through the pain and deliver an entertaining match. Like it was understandable sloppy and limited at times but dude pulled through big on adrenaline hitting moves that probably damaged his shoulder more. Plus I give Cena lots of credit looking concerned and playing it off as his character and doing everything he could to not target his shoulder. I just imagine Zayn earned tons of respect from Vince "Good Job working through that Injury Shelton! You look different. You get a haircut?"

Well, at least Orton can breathe a sigh of relief that he doesn't have the most embarrassing injury in the business any more, having hurt himself pounding the mat for the RKO wake up taunt.

Well, damn. Maybe the fact that he's one of "our" guys might spare him from getting completely torn to shreds over it.

Shit.. And let's hope it isn't a stinger, since that's what started all if Bryan's problems Aren't a lot of Bryan's problems attributed to not getting it properly treated? Like, he just rested and thought positive thoughts?

Considering Sami's had nagging shoulder injuries, maybe he should have thought that through. But then again I can understand the moment being a case where adrenaline overtook common sense.

Somehow this will be spun so that it's Cena doing it on purpose to protect his spot. Hell, someone might say that Cena tried to kill him. (OK, all that was in jest, but I am STUNNED that there are people saying that Zayn losing here after a competitive match with the top guy in the company, while possibly legit injured, was a burial. Not only do I disagree with them... They are just factually wrong) Wait, people are seriously saying that was a burial? Anyone legit thinking that Sami Zayn losing last night after an amazing match with John Cena should probably just stop using that word because they clearly don't understand what a burial really is. Besides, John Cena lost his debut match too and look where he's at.

wait... Sami Zayn wrestled John Cena on RAW?? Yes, Despite Zayne losing, Cena elevated zayne to main event status. During the match Zayne was allowed to hit; The Burning Hammer, Top Rope Brainbuster, Gansobomb and Piledriver. Cena kicked out of all hits, BUT in his infinite wisdom, The kind only a living god like Cena could possess allowed Zayne to kick out of the fabled AA, Shortly after Cena hit his ever crafty, super sonic speed and impossible to dodge rebound stunner followed by another AA that caved in the ring to win. Zayne did not look good, Nay he looked like a meer man being molded into a sentient being of light and this will be the match people point to as the catalyst when we enter month 17 of Sami Zayne wwe championship title run. In reality after seeing the match on YT, It was a solid match with a predictable finish with some people saying Zane was buried and other saying he looked good/great. What I got from it was, See this NXT scrub? Yeah he had some fire to kick out of the big move but at the end of the day he still can't beat anyone important. I saw it as Vince's subtle commentary about how easily he can dismantle your precious NXT favorite.

He literally injured himself by trying to pump up the crowd, this is leading to a heel turn isn't it?

The number one thing I took from the video was that Heath Slater refuses to let 3MB die, despite being the only one left. I'm also disappointed the crowd didn't shout "Let's Go!" in tune with Sami's music right before the music really hits like the crowds on NXT do. They'll learn with practice, I hope. Only the morons.

That still belongs to Kevin Nash, for taking a step and tearing his quad, his first match back from I believe the same Injury.
