Glacier will be real. Bama Doink draws decent crowds for Alabama. The Patriot is of course fake,and working on the card unmasked under a different name. Surprised the AWF KGB wrestler isn't on the card. Fake Patriot is Alabama Doink's son. The fact that Alabama Doink makes a living from wrestling and that he advertises himself as a former wwf superstar infuriates me. I wish this asshole would get into the wwe's radar so he gets a cease and desist letter and he stops being Doink. I have no problem with all the fake doinks around the world, but Alabama Doink just irritates me. Matt Borne is rolling in his grave. Been told by a few that yea Patriot is Bama Doink's son. But had others tell me it is his nephew or some other relative. Doesn't matter he is horrible. The thing with the AWF is it makes a decent place for younger talent to work more often and get paid decently. Guys like El Fuego,Airman Banks,Lucha Locura,Suicidal Souja and others have used AWF as a place to get paid,work in front of decent sized crowds and use what they learn to move onto other indies. Supposedly AWF pays even rookies very well ,well for the deep south. Heard the payoffs compared to how SWA is in MS. Oddly AWF has the same issue as SWA.In that the upper card has at most 2 good wrestlers then a bunch of to be nice crap wrestlers.Where as the lower and middle card has piles of talent. Plus AWF managed to go viral what was it 2 years ago with the Golden Corral match? Last time a deep south fed went that viral was when Rick Steiner tried to shoot on a young Vordell Walker in some FL panhandle fed back almost 15 years ago. |

I think out of the 4 of us only 1 guy has met Teddy before. Kinda wanting to hit a show when they use Heidenreich,just to see how crazy he is in person. |

Vordell Walker wasn't having none that day lol. He took down Steiner at will when Rick tried to shoot. |

Alabama seems like such a weird place, like a bizarro world I grew up about 1 mile from the Alabama state line. And the rural areas can be strange. But then the same can be said about MS and LA. The bigger cities in AL are decent. Use to goto Mobile very often,mostly cause it had 2 great comic shops and a huge flea market. And Birmingham is a nice place. I need to find and upload some pics I got of Mountain Man. He works for AWF a lot. Imagine a even worse Uncle Elmer. He hasn't done the gimmick in 5 years but Wildkat wrestler Curt Studd Matthews use to wrestle all over MS as Curt The Studd Matthews and it was a Hulk Hogan tribute. He was billed from Biloxi beach,used the leg drop or ax bomber as a finisher. Had his fans,the Studdamaniacs. AND instead of Hulking up he Studded up. Need to upload some pics of back when Curt was doing the gimmick. Surprised he never thought to tribute John Studd instead. |

There was a guy in Australia who ripped off Benoit and called himself "the rabid pantherine" or something. Not sure if he changed that after the double murder suicide.
Also years ago there was this guy called "Hawk Hogan" who was an 80s rip off of Hulk, he actually advertised himself for appearances at kids parties and shit.
