How would a GFW merger even benefit TNA? Neither one has any money and GFW has no top level talent. I don't get it.

I wonder, if it is the Merger... does that mean Panda dropped the Dixie must remain condition, or Jeff Jarrett is going to keep Dixie.

I'm think the PPV gets canceled, they'll move the Ec3 v. Angle match to this week, tape a month next week and then die out.

I saw something somewhere about TNA announcing some kind of "digital originals" throughout the summer. Wonder if that could be a precursor to announcing cancellation.
Pure speculation, but it would fit the TNA Modus Operindi.
"Oh sug, sure DA cancelled us, but Hon, we got internet shows. The internet is the future Sug."

Please let it be a GFW merger. Then technically TNA is dead and I can repurpose this damn board already. If this means EC3 as GFW Champion, then I am all for it!

A merger would allow TNA to basically reboot with a new name. GFW would get some names like Hardy and Kurt, but they are basically TNA-Lite at this point anyway.
If it gets rid of Dixie that is good, but I think Jeff probably needs her Panda money.

Considering that's a lot of dates in a row to do shows, makes me wonder if Universal is again giving them the boot.

Exactly, they have nothing and cannot afford it so why not? At worst throw in a best of ONO if they have to air something. A merger would allow TNA to basically reboot with a new name. GFW would get some names like Hardy and Kurt, but they are basically TNA-Lite at this point anyway. If it gets rid of Dixie that is good, but I think Jeff probably needs her Panda money. You know, it wouldn't shock me if those two had that plan all along. Jarrett "leaves", starts building a buzz about a new company while TNA just tries to not die and after Jarrett has done all the leg work on this "new company" he swoops in, takes over TNA but under a brand that isn't tainted by 13 years of suck, fail and f*** ups. Dixie gets to stay on as an executive and PR person, Jeff gets "his" company back and nothing really changes.

You can't tell from the GIF, but this is actually at TNA's ''Going outta business!'' auction. Virgil just bid $2 for TNA's entire tape library. Garrett Bischoff is eyeing the "Best of Immortal" compilation DVDs but faces strong competition from Murphy.

No thanks, so long as Bob's Worthless Brat stays around because he won't give up on her there's no future for them. It'd be preferably if TNA just dies at last.
