MLW @mlw 3m3 minutes ago Don’t forget the fact that Jeff Jarrett has maintained a stake in ownership in TNA and was never bought out.

Source: Abyss clogged the toilet at the Impact Zone again Damnnit, out of the gate and Akeem nails it. Please let it be a GFW merger. Then technically TNA is dead and I can repurpose this damn board already. Yeah, with Full House coming back it's time it got it's own board.

Doesn't Jarett have Toby Keith as his main backer for GWF or am I misremembering?

Ok except Bobby Roode and Aries, and maybe EC3, all of TNA talent either always sucked or got fat, what is GFW actually gaining? Maybe Jeff just wants the TNA name

Jayz has bought impact an has renamed it Tidal Nonstop Action a live version of celebrity deathmatch.
I think JJ just doing the world a favor an putting TNA out of its misery enough is enough.

Dixie: As of today, TNA will be in business forever, and all contracts will last until the end of time! I OWN YOUR SOULS! TNA is Mortal Kombat and Dixie is Tsang Shung That settles it, I'm going to just find my sister and make peace. I want no part of this madness.

Yeah but being on DA is not necessarily a good thing. Can a national wrestling promotion be sustained by DA's shitty ratings? I think that they would make a splash the first months, but Jeff Jarrett being Jeff Jarrett is not gonna keep the momentum going, I think in a year time we're gonna be making LOLGFWTNA threads about their new network cancelling them

But the premise is so unlikely that nothing will change.

At the end of a year he can either shop GFW, extend it with DA or sell it to Vince. Nothing really to lose.

I wonder, if it is the Merger... does that mean Panda dropped the Dixie must remain condition, or Jeff Jarrett is going to keep Dixie. WHY THE HELL WOULD ANYONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND KEEP DIXIE AROUND? SHE IS LITERALLY DRIVING A SHIP INTO AN ICEBERG, BACKING IT UP, AND THEN CRASHING INTO THE SAME ICEBERG OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

Because that's the one thing that has kept the Carter's from selling the company in the past. They really, really don't want Dixie near anything significant so they throw money at TNA (probably writing off some of the losses) and keep her away from the grown-up table and the rest of Panda Energy.

Man I don't know, back in the asylum days Jeff ran a really low Budget operation and he still lost money every week and had to sell it to the Carters. What network is gonna want a failed product? I'm not saying that GFW is doomed for failure right now, but if they acquire TNA's poison and damaged Brand they're already dead. I'm sorry but James Storm, Abyss, and almost all of the TNA talent don't deserve to be on television.
If Jarrett doesn't learn from TNA's mistakes he's gonna repeat them, and based on his trackrecord, using Vince Russo, he'll make the same mistakes again.
I also don't think that Vince would buy the TNA video library, they were never direct competition like WCW, ECW, and the major territories. TNA never really inovated anything or contributed to the wrestling world, they'll forever be known as a failure, only a step above XPW and Herb Abrams' UWF

Jarrett and Russo arent friends anymore, if he came back to TNA was because of Dixie.
Jarrett will put DAmore as the head booker like he did with TNA years of 2005-2006.

Also if not for Panda TNA would have died off in 03/04 So don't put too much faith into Jeff here You say that like it's a good thing. I personally feel TNA's refusal to die made it impossibly hard for another company to break into the number 2 spot.
