My friends always tell me that I am such a music snob but I can't help it! Whenever I listen to rap, I just wanna listen to something that hasn't been played nonstop on the radio for seven months. There's just a lot of popular acts I don't like now that I think about it. f*** that, I'll take Flying Lotus and Tame Impala over Fetty Wap and Imagine Dragons any day.
So, what are you snobby about?

I won't drink shoddy alcohol. If I'm going to have a drink, I want something nice. That said; I'm not very picky at all. I more or less don't want a "burn", something overly sweet or skunky ass beer.

Sometimes I think I can be a bit of an animation snob, but then again I also love Space Jam so that probably cancels it out.
Other than that, I don't so much run away from being a snob as I'm just not capable of it. For every highbrow drama I like there's some dumb shit like Billy Madison that still makes me laugh to this day, and with music some days I'm in the mood for socially conscious stuff and other days I get through my work easier blasting something totally brainless. It depends on my mood.

hahaha! Yes. So much about is incredibly snobby and hipster-ish.
Coffee (has to be direct trade or fair trade if that's not available and I prefer cold brew because it creates a sweeter flavor profile with lower acidity that doesn't even require sugar most times).
Clothes (made in US only, or another country with decent labor practices. The design can't be any rip off or highly recognizable licensed design. Original design (not an original drawing of the Capt America shield, but ORIGINAL design) is preferrable. Also, I get my pants from a company that basically does mini-crowd funding for each new design with limited runs - its called Flint and Tinder)
Comics (99% creator-owned titles. Though I'll occassionally dabble in a licensed property like Superior Foes or some random DC title, but it never really holds my interests for more than a few months (Superior Foes being the exception til it got cancelled)).
Movies (too long and inflammatory to really go into, but suffice it to say anyone calling me an "annoying, pretentious hipster movie snob," would probably be 100% justified like Raylan Givens when he shot that miami gun thug).
TV: I don't know if I'm snobby or just very particular. But I don't watch reality TV or anykind of "infotainment" type celebrity gossip stuff. Generally I'll watch netflix originals, imports from Europe, VERY specific animes or miniseries and any show that goes past 3-4 seasons is dead to me after that in most instances. My wrestling has gotten REALLY snobby lately. Can't go in for WWE or TNA. Mainly a handful of indie promotions and LU.
I dunno, I could go on. I'm irritatingly hard to shop for.

I look down on a lot of trashy TV and dumb movies, I can’t believe people would watch such crap.
Then I tune(d) into Raw, Strikeback, Neighbours, Total Wipeout, True Blood, Castle, The Apprentice... Everything I criticise about other shows features in at least one those.
It's tough being a hypocritical snob.

Maybe reading? When I was dating and I saw that people only read magazines or haven't read since high school, that was an instant disqualification.

This just reminded me that almost half the trades I bought last year were from Image. I still need to pick up Wicked + Divine one of these days.

Most modern "comedy" shows and stand-ups, with the exception of Stewart Lee, who may as well be me talking.

Spelling.
The internet is a communication medium. When you don't bother to check your spelling and have a string of stupid errors it says to me that you don't respect the people you're talking to. You're not willing to go through the bare minimum of effort to engage with them properly.
This leaves out tiny, stupid typos and stuff of course.

Reading is the biggest one for me. If someone tells me their favorite book is something I know for a fact they had to read in high school, I tend to assume that they probably haven't read anything since then. Or if they tell me they don't read at all I just back away. I don't really feel bad about it.

Whiskey....in my little world, I am of the mindset that the more I pay for it, the better it'll be
Wine....See whiskey
Root Beer....everyone looks at me very weird when I say that, but I have a strong dislike for generic brands and Barq's, but I have a big passion for brands like Dad's, IBC, A&W (my favorite), and Mug.

I'm "secretly" snobby about a lot of things but the only one I'm outright snobby about is smoking. Keep your disgusting smoke away from me and my clean living, thanks.

To sort of go along with this, fact checking and sourcing when posting "news" or attempting to argue something. If you don't have a cohesive base to start a discussion with, I'll generally just end up ignoring you.

I am starting to get a little snobby with professional wrestling. I refuse to regularly watch substandard fare like Impact or RAW, especially with a number of superior alternatives out there

I have a very low opinion of the state of Wyoming, and the people that are from here. While there are always exceptions, there aren't many from my experience.
