Easy, just don't have a Facebook like me. Well, I had one, but it was mostly just Simpsons pictures and emo stuff. And it doesn't matter how inebriated I am, I'm not stupid enough to take photos of myself in that state. Or set the entire thing to private. Actually, higher-paying employers will ask you why you don't have a Facebook account if you don't have one, and if you do, but set it to private, they won't hire you if you refuse to grant them access. "Something to hide", and all that. And for people who talk about "on private time", if you have an important or high-paying job, you don't have private time. You represent your company 24/7, even when not on direct duty.

Sadly I find people either don't bitch about their job at all or do it on a regular basis on Facebook. Again I wouldn't and haven't held people drinking against members of staff. A few of our younger staff are pretty wild but as long as they come in on time and can work and are not smelling of drink then fine. I have often came into work on no more than a couple of hours sleep after a night out myself. I basically draw the line at if I feel someone will be a liabilty or not in the workplace. If their Facebook page has anything on it that makes me think they will be hard to work with then I avoid them. It's very hard to get someone out of a job once they start so it's important to try and pick who is best. But pictures of nights out drinking in and of themselves are fine. Then yeah, sounds good, if someone's being an ass all the time about stuff and doesn't want to be there, then they shouldn't be. I just see a lot of arguments as "oh you went out and there are photos of drinking, we can't have that" which seems draconian, and in many cases hypocritical. You sound like a cool boss The situation I described was of someone who's Facebook page covered obviously college years and the next few years (he was late 20s) and had dozens -- maybe 100 -- photos on his Facebook page. Literally EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE was him hammered drunk. Daytime, nighttime, all different settings ... and one thing in common was he was obviously not only drinking but fall-down drunk. Not a good fit for the job. Sorry. And, as I said, it tells me a lot about his judgment that he choose to put those and ONLY those on his public social media.

Ok, yeah, late 20s and nothing else, that'd give me pause unless he had amazing references. From the sounds of it, it had sounded like a guy just out of college it's not shocking all their photos are gonna be like that.

Guys, we're getting off track a bit. This isn't about someone posting drunk pics during their time off, it's about someone posting racially-charged offensive material that actively interfered with their ability to be a representative of the company they were hired by.
Most all of us have done or said something online that comes back to haunt us in some form. Not always on a threat-to-employment level, but something. Hell, just being a member of a primarily wrestling forum is going to get us looked at funny by some.

Schreiber is a German surname, not necessarily Jewish. Its just as possible that her grandparents were actual Nazis from Germany who moved during the war.

And it's possible they had their names legally changed from Garfunkel before she was born. We're making way too much of a case out of her name's origins. She didn't pick them, it doesn't really affect the situation.

Ahah, no they won't. "You didn't hire me! You discriminated against me because I'm XYZ!" "No, we didn't hire you because there's 200 pictures of you drinking, clearly blitzed out of your skull. We can't have someone representing our company in such a manner." "Oh." Why not? I wasn't engaged in any illegal activity, no one was hurt or discriminated against. Unless there are specific "morality" or behaviour modifying clauses, what does my non company time with my friends have to do with my ability to perform a job? WWE does have a morality clause in their contracts and if someone doesn't tell them the truth about heir past, they will pull offers and even fire people over it.

Oh I know, I was making a point about things in general, WWE, they see you on your personality, they need you to not have anything really shady there.

All of that will likely happen- and even those have more problems: It doesn't even mention the simple fact that with social media rising, we're probably going to see more examples of crab mentality come into play and people deciding "If I can't have this important/high-paying job, I'll make it my mission to make sure you can't have it either...and maybe if I keep doing this over and over to everyone possible, they'll be FORCED to pick me because I'll be the best available!" which seems like it's the next level of these problems. It won't have to do with a case where they did it like this one, but there is still the point where the same happens in similar options.

An apology is not enough. I want her to make territorial concessions to France and pay reparations.

Well, it started well enough. And then she started making excuses and blaming people for unrelated things. 0/10, bad apology.

Was she even a decent prospect? I seriously never heard of her doing anything unless she or Rollins are screwing up outside of the ring.

Why did she not touch on all the batshit crazy woman views she has? Or the anti-black racism?
Figured when it came time for the canned apology she'd at least hit all bases.

You can't go from "loz, yur girls are bItchezzzz" type posts to writing that.
