I love how when a respected Japanese woman wrestler is brought up wearing Nazi gear she is 100% defended. Waifus are serious business. Well, that has to do with the fact that there are major cultural differences between America and Japan on the subject of Nazism. You'd know that if you bothered to read the last couple of pages. And I say that as someone who doesn't give a shit about Kana either way.

Does anyone stand by that logic when it comes to countries who treat women and gay people like dirt and justify abusing them though? Seems selective logic.

I presume she was playing a character. JBL done the nazi walk when he was in character, but got completely vilified! At the end of the day no one should ever be referncing the nazi regime in any way, in character or not. I guess we should vilify everyone involved with Inglourious Basterds.

I look at the Nazi Memorabilia thing like this:
Some people collect things, weird things, for whatever reason. I've known of people who lost family in the Holocaust camps that collect Nazi artifacts. Owning/collecting/having an interest in Nazis/World War 2 etc. doesn't make someone a nazi-sympathizer any more than owning and reading books on famous serial killers makes someone a serial killer apologist.
That said,
If you share your collection, whether in private with close-friends or on a public forum like social media, you absolutely every time have to point out that you're not a sympathizer. Just for courtesy, put something about the history or some context to using that iconography or just some variant of the sentence "Nazis are terrible" somewhere.
And suddenly become a prickly pear when someone asks why you're posting photos of Nazi swag pretty much confirms someone's a nazi-sympathizer. Even if they're just an "idiot," if you're self-centered and dumb enough to respond to any version of the question "do you like nazis" with a statement beginning with anything other than "No, of course not," even if it's followed by a "but/however" regarding an interest, you're letting one of the greatest cultural atrocities ever slide just because you want anonymous strangers to like your dumb bullshit.

Isn't Seth technically Hispanic? Seth is Armenian, his stepfather is Hispanic. Also, on that note, Zahra's name is Arabic, so... This whole thing is just ridiculous.

Armenians themselves were victims of genocide in the last century so I can't imagine Seth would be cool with his girlfriend having any nazi sympathies

Kana's wearing Nazi stuff because her character's being a weird, shitty person who's done shit like sexually assault opponents and generally be a garbage person. This often gets lost because people talking up her kicking the shit out of people and forget there's a character though. She also almost ALWAYS plays a face in America without those trappings.
Zahra is doing shit out of character and being dumb.

She strikes me more as a special little snowflake who thinks she's edgy, than an actual nazi sympathizer.
This is based solely on the link provided and her responses in it so I could be terribly misinformed or off base. Who knows.
Awful regardless, but I think it's more just a terrible personality quirk of hers rather than some innate hatred.

Isn't Seth technically Hispanic? He's ethnically Armenian. Armenians are Caucasians. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}The modern sovereign state of Armenia is geographically located in the Caucasus mountains of Eurasia.

And the Japanese using Nazi iconography isn't offensive IMO, it's cultural. They use the imagery to imply "bad-guy" a lot. Look at M Bison in Street Fighter, his outfit is lifted straight from Nazi inspiration.
It's akin to an American seeing the Rising Sun iconography and not batting an eye. Things get lost in translation of culture a lot.

I have portraits of General Franco and José Antonio Primo de Rivera on my wall surrounded by wreaths and above several memorial candles, but that does not mean I support Spanish fascism. Who is this post attacking collectors or actual supporters? because it's a mixed signal.

Simply that we as a culture in America see the Rising Sun flag and don't either respect/understand the significance of it to other peoples and cultures or its historical significance. Not all for sure, or we wouldn't be having this conversation, but by and large I feel Americans don't know anything about the weight the image of the Rising Sun flag carries for people.

The Rising Sun Flag is viewed as a very negative thing in China and South Korea due to the history of Japan in the region so Americans may not have an issue with it but South Koreans and Chinese people will

Who is this post attacking collectors or actual supporters? because it's a mixed signal. It's mocking those who have flattering displays of symbols of vicious ideologies, yet deny any sympathy for the ideology itself.

Remember when they made a shirt for Hideo Itami featuring the Rising Sun, and we all thought it looked hot, but it got pulled because the Rising Sun has connotations with horrifying war crimes Japan committed in China? Probably that.
