It seems from this point on there will never be a lead star that takes over the company like Hogan, Austin, Rock, & Cena. None of the guys on the roster right now have any drawing power at all except for Cena & the part timers that wrestle a few times a year. It just seems that the company will move forward as the WWE itself as the draw & not a particular star that will be the draw. I just don't see it happening anytime soon anyway. I would have said Ambrose could do it, but the way the WWE books him it's obvious they don't view him as anything more than an occasional main eventer & eventually it's likely he'll be a heel. And Reigns just doesn't seem like he'll ever be over with the fans enough to do it.

Sasha Banks, Bayley with proper booking can reach Ronda Rousey level IMO.

Ever?
Nah, eventually someone will be THE guy.
Now whether there's ever some sort of boom period or what have you is an entirely different matter/discussion. But eventually someone else will be their standard bearer.

Most of Cena's drawing power comes from the kids being encouraged to like him. If WWE pushes another character and focuses on the children, whoever it is will probably do just fine.

The only one who I feel could possibly be the main draw is Ambrose, but the way he's booked it just doesn't seem the WWE has him in mind for that role.

If WWE wanted it to happen (with someone other than Cena), it would happen.
Big E could be "The Man". Sami Zayn could be "The Man".

No. Somebody always comes along and become that guy. Cena wasn't penciled in to be the guy until it actually happened. Just a matter of crowd reaction and superstar connection.

I think it's safe to say that because they don't want anyone to be bigger than the business (ie might be become popular enough to leave to do other things, see Rock, Lesnar) which is so stupid because when a guy becomes mainstream so does wrestling. Ironic that their "universe" is becoming an ever shrinking bubble.
They had a shot with Bryan but waited too long. The only thing they can do for the foreseeable future that would generate mass interest is a Cena heel turn.

With the perfect timing and care, there can very easily by another main event draw.

There will eventually be another main draw.
It's just that, given how apparently there was a wrestling boom a couple times (2005-06, then the last couple years) we fans will never recognize them as a main draw when it happens- or just as likely, will refuse to accept them as a main draw if they aren't one of "our" guys/girls.

I think another Roman Reigns mega push is around the corner.

Yeah, but it doesn't necessarily have to be a guy on the current roster. Could be some dude outta left field in say five years from now. Barring injury, Cena's still got years to go as the top star.. which does kinda suck given how stale that character is, but 'shrug'.

It's gonna happen again. Organically. Maybe not anytime soon but someday.
Despite WWE's best efforts.

I hope not. Having one messiah hurts the booking. WWE push them to the detriment of others.

I hope not. Having one messiah hurts the booking. WWE push them to the detriment of others. We wouldn't want anything hurting the tremendous booking of the last few years. Parity for all! Except those getting over. Losing streaks and Kane angles for them!
