Cena was refusing to work with Christian. Say what?

Cena: When he beat Angle, Christian and Y2J pretty consecutively and started with his shitty nicknames and insults.
Orton: When he killed Christian's run with the belt and the fans hopes of Captain Charisma being respected as a top player.
Sheamus: 18 Seconds and the aftermath
Ryback: The "Not being able to get the job done" era, losing to CM Punk and Cena.
Reigns: TLC 2014 where he just screamed entitled future golden boy.
Batista: Smackdown's title shot cheat code era.
Big Show: Man this is a hard one, he feels like he's been hated and pointless for years now. I guess trying to hijack Bryan's popularity with the YES! Movement and stuff.
Del Rio: Too Much DESTINY/AGRESSION!
Miz: Around his WM main event push and being made to look like a babby by Cena/Rock
HHH: Wrestlemania 19 combined with the Reign of Terror. Backed up by some of the horrible DX Reunion stuff featuring Hornswaggle.
Jericho: His podcast, talking down to fans about the Reigns dislike and defending Bill Demott
Paige: Tough Enough
Ryder: When he became seemingly overly needy of a push and then being made to look like a bitch by Cena, Eve and Kane
Kane: Being involved in the burial of Ryder with the Embrace The Hate angle and then subsequently being shoehorned into big angles with no real rhyme or reason.

Ziggler seems to have bombed with this Rusev fued. He was outright booed at times on Main Event against Kevin Owens. Guys don't like a guy who steals women and tries to cuckold funnily enough. People seem to conveniently forget that Rusev treated Lana like shit, which caused her to break up with him. And that was before Ziggler even showed any interest in Lana. In fact, Lana was the one that came on to Ziggler and kissed him, which get quite a big cheer from the crowd. I'm not exactly sure why or when people started to rewrite history and made Ziggler out to be some homewrecker, and Rusev this innocent victim.

I personally think the whole thing with Ziggler/Rusev is that the feud is so shit, that the face (Ziggler) looks unlikeable and the heel (Rusev) looks awesome almost in an unintended way, which makes everything subjective.

I know people like to say that the Miz was "Never good", but I remember him being a favorite(if past message board posts are anything to go by).
I always believed it was until Punk whined about Miz main eventing Wrestlemania and not him that people started turning on him.
Then again, I could be wrong...

About Jericho...I was off the boards in 2002, what was the reaction like when he went on his rant about his KOTR match with Van Dam being *****?
Also about him defending DeMott...I'm not going to say I know what he did or didn't do. But I can't get behind the movement against him, as some of the people who condemned him are indy wannabe superstars who bully other people just as bad. I've seen their attacks on friends, in public and cyberbullying. And there's others who wouldn't give a bucket of water to someone DeMott set on fire, and they just do it for attention and to bring down someone "famous" and make themselves important.
/Sometimes the twain does meet too.

I've always wanted to read what Jericho said about that situation. Is there a link to that anywhere floating around?

His 3rd book struck a lot of the same chords as Foley's third book. That turned a lot of "smarks" off. Could you expand on your feelings about this? I'd always assumed his third book was pretty well liked. The only thing that bugs me about it is that he seems completely unaware that he's an obnoxious jerk at times (according to his own stories) and he doesn't seem to learn any of the lessons he talks about learning throughout his life. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) Honestly, it seems like his 2nd and 3rd books both suffered from a few things. 1)A lot of the Fozzy stuff doesn't interest a majority of wrestling fans and 2)A lot of the humor that comes across as natural in his first book seem forced (like the constant Foley never beat me joke). Now the 2nd book is still good overall, but the 3rd is kind of a chore as even the wrestling stories he has aren't overly interesting. I think the over thing that hurts Jericho is that Punk said Jericho wanted to use his story as a way to make a buck, and then Jericho made his response available only through payment. I always had a theory that people always viewed Jericho as a down to earth guy who saw himself on the fans level, and when he has shown to be somewhat of a mark (which I don't hold against him), as well as a company shill it turned a lot of people against him... and he seems to think everything he does anymore is awesome. As for Ryback? it was the Miz match where he quit.

I always believed it was until Punk whined about Miz main eventing Wrestlemania and not him that people started turning on him. Then again, I could be wrong... At one point Miz was considered a board favourite, starting around the time he was drafted to Raw and started calling out Cena. Even after Mania there were a good few people on board with Miz, though a lot of them really seemed to turn on him with the R-Truth botch.

Cena: When he changed characters overnight in early 2004 and stopped the rapper gimmick and started this chain gang BS. Orton: He's had several. He was never hotter after punting Vince in the head and never the same after losing to HHH at Wrestlmania. Sheamus: 18 Seconds and follow-up feud with Del Rio right after. Ryback: The heel turn. But he is popular now. Reigns: Returning from injury and fluffing all his promos, quoting Sylvester and winning the Rumble. Batista: The most recent one was winning the Rumble. Big Show: Hijacking Bryan's feud with the Authority. Del Rio: Losing Ricardo as his manager and feuding with Sheamus. The feud with Swagger was the final straw. Miz: His awful face run. HHH: Reign of terror in 2002-2004. Jericho: Defending Bill Demott and Roman's way too early push. When the WWE realised they were pushing Roman too early I guess Jericho disagreed? Paige: Total Divas, lesbian angle, tough enough. Ryder: Bitching online Kane: Corporate Kane.

No because some (not all) of the members of that movement are hypocritical in that they bully people too. Fans included. I'd ask if you were really from a certain indy league here, but as per what they publicly accused my friend of, that can't be possible. Cause they don't tolerate "catfish accounts" and "stalkers." :-)

Even after Mania there were a good few people on board with Miz, though a lot of them really seemed to turn on him with the R-Truth botch. Oh yeah, when Miz tried to murder him, apparently. I think that was the peak after the rot started again with the serious "iceman" push.
