Okay, I was gonna say, it'd look so dumb Breeze wins with the relatively weak looking Beauty Shot after all those devastating strikes Ciampa was hitting the whole match.

ECC vs. Joe & Balor
- Love Balor's new entrance.
- Serious Cass is, um, sawft. I'd rather him not do the bit because of how big this is than do whatever that was.
- Match was alright. Not sure about Joe basically no selling ECC's finish but it sucks anyway so not a big deal.

Gargano and Ciampa getting some promo time is odd but I like that they are not being immediately dismissed since they lost. Small touch but nice one.

Apollo Crews vs. Johnny Gargano
- The GeneriTron for Gargano is sad.
- Like the green color scheme for Crews. Wish he had the tights to match.
- Gargano looks great. Crews not so much which is weird.
- Still hate that finish for Crews. 

Love the backstage bit with Dana, Emma and Regal. Wish they had left what Dana saw a mystery though.

Dana Brook & Emma vs. Billie Kay & Peyton Royce
- Corey had a great line about not pestering the ref about the 3 count. Talking about there being ways around the rules but that not being one because the ref won't change was great.
- Peyton was looking great until that botch. 
- Peyton and Billie are in desperate need of character work less they become the female version of Blake and Murphy. Guess they could get Tye Dillinger as their Alexa Bliss though.

Nice little promo from JJ and Gable and liked them stating they are facing Joe & Finn in the finals with the "not likely" on the Mechanics. Like the tension between all the teams. Great stuff. 

Tommaso Ciampa vs. Tyler Breeze
- I really hope Tyler beats Crews. He's spinning his wheels right now and needs to move on to the main roster or get a face turn.
- Love all the reversals.
- Ciampa getting a lot in. 
- Unprettier? f*** off with that shit Tyler. And how the hell do the announcers not know what that is? Jesus, it was the finish for one of the more popular stars of the last two decades and was used by him just a year or two ago. Ugh. Os.

Rhino & Corbin promo, meh.

Not sure why but I think Nia Jax helps Dana beat Asuka.

Orton popping up with the Tube Men was a great bit of happenstance.

I wish that the RAW and Smackdown announcers would talk about Sasha missing those shows so she can focus on this IronWoman match.

The babyface getting her moment after being denied so long. Bayley (and Sami as well) are proof that a face chasing their destiny after being denied by heel after heel, by face after face and by circumstance after circumstance can be done and done perfectly. Why this cannot be done on the main roster is the greatest mystery in WWE. Blame Vince, blame Dunn, blame whomever, it makes no sense it can be seen done to perfection in their minor leagues but not on the main roster.

Likes:

- Tyler Breeze developing into a well-rounded cowardly heel with a mean streak. We saw him snap and rail Ciampa.
- Good job selling Bayley/Sasha IronWoman match
- Dana Brooke's reaction to Asuka (or whatever Regal was showing) was hilarious. This isn't going to be a picnic. Emma's reaction is classic.
- Confrontation between Dawson/Wilder and Jordan/Gable was amazing. As one poster noted, Dawson/Wilder have the Arn/Tully dynamic down pat. Gable and Jordan were not to be outdone and I'm sold on their match next week.

Dislikes:

- No Bull Dempsey this week? Is Bull Fit OVER in a bad way?
- I am sick of Nia Jax already. From what I've seen of her, not impressed.
- Enzo/Cass should have gone over Joe/Balor. That's bullshit.
- Heel tactics of Balor. I mean, did he really have to snag Cass with that leg to the back of the head?

Cannot wait for Respect next week!

Love Samoa Joe's music.

I know screaming HEEL TURN is kind of cliche, but Finn's new look/vacant expression screams heel. I want to see what he could do with a heel run.

Into the break it's Finn Balor face to face with... Enzo Amore! Didn't see that combo ever happening!

I really wish Cass wore something more "loud". His regular trunks just don't go with Enzo. Hell, give him some of Edge's old tights.

Samoa Joe just "John Cena'd" Enzo/Cass's finisher.

I really don't have a reason to care about Ciampa/Gargano, do I? Gargano has a bit of a presence to him though. And he looks like Dark Knight Christian Bale.

Can't wait to see Asuka's first competitive match!

Hate Apollo Crews finisher. Should be a mid match signature.

Are those Peyton and Billie real life clones? Neither of them have impressed me yet... But Sasha Banks was once a smiley forgettable bright-clothed babyface and we all know where she went.

I'm not seeing too much in Ciampa. Is his whole gimmick "STIFF"? That rope hung face drop was nifty though.

I wish Corbin had a real beard or more that the chin strap. He has such a baby face.

I liked that it took a heel move from Finn to turn the tide in that match but I'm on record as saying I expect a heel turn out of him at TO:R. I just wish/hope that Joe brings that up.

I don't like Apollo Crews one bit. Blue chipper. That finisher is boring. I really hope that Breeze can push Crews to the limit and make him look vulnerable for once. It seems like a mis-match but Prince Pretty can pull it off.

I don't like the idea of Nia Jax helping Dana beat Asuka. Is it really a good idea to have Asuka lose in her debut when she's quite well known in Japan/The World? I'd say Emma tries and fails to save Dana, costing Dana the match.

-I looove Joe's new music. I know I've said it before but still. He seems like he fits in 200% better because of it.
-Still kinda feel like Balor isn't really getting a chance to be the top face on NXT. I hope that changes soon
-Balor vs. Joe is gonna kick serious ass whenever it happens
-I kinda hope Breeze somehow wins the NXT title next somehow, he's kinda in this at the cusp phase where he's not a main eventer but not a mid carder, he feels kinda lost within the indy signings
-Apollo looked impressive against lil' Austin Aires
-Dana talks almost like the Liz's from Publizity ("It's beesed off our neems")
-I can see Regal holding the laptop up and showing a video becoming a meme
-I miss the sillier NXT names. The next one should be NXT Takeover RE: spec T
-I feel like Dana's been on every NXT show for a while but I'm probably wrong
-Jordan's blank stare freaks me out and reminds me of TNA Kurt Angle. What's he looking at?
-Still impressed at how much NXT fits into an hour while on Raw they fit in...far far less
-Ciampa looks like a CAW my brother made when I was in fourth grade...his name was Lennz
-shoutout to NXT for actually going over the cards to their big events
-Also kinda ready for this tag tournament to be over though and this "rebuilding" period to end

I really enjoyed the show. Felt like they fit a ton in for just an hour.

I don't see Finn going heel. Joe isn't even remotely over enough to be the number one face.

Billie Kay has some serious potential. Peyton has some work to do. Needs to up her intensity. Although I do like the emotion Peyton showed during the match. And no, they aren't going to be getting gimmicks yet. Give it time.

Evil Emma has such a phenomenal look and pose.

Asuka's face for that match graphic is the most bloodthirsty look I've ever seen from a wrestler.

Really liked the promo for the Iron Maiden match. Only hiccup was that they should've filmed the outdoor training at different places for the two. It struck me like they were filmed training together.

So, according to a reddit user who was at this show(the guy who is in the front row with his kid every week), Joe/Finn vs Cass/Enzo was drastically edited.

Apparently the match was twice as long with Joe and Finn beating the ever living shit out of Enzo for a long, long time. He said Joe and Finn came off as heels and the match was kind of uncomfortable.

NXT: Takes ten minutes(!) at the end of their show to hype the women's title match (a rematch no less) as must see

Liking the different purposes of the two Bring Me The Horizon songs, with "Happy Song" the main theme for the show, and "Throne" the theme for Bayley vs. Sasha.

Knew from when they joined in right as the hot tag was coming up that a huge chunk was cut out of the Dusty Classic tag. It was just heating up, break, hot tag - the meat of the match wasn't there. Probably a big reason why it was moved from the main event spot to the opener too.

Gargano and Ciampa (as also seen on Impact) had good showings, Johnny looking more like he belongs than Tommaso. Disappointed that Billie and Peyton are still in jobber roles, but they've got to establish Asuka and eventually Nia Jax, and maybe they'll be further developed down the line. Wish they didn't show what Regal showed Dana and Emma... in fact, it would have made more sense for him to show them the vignette from earlier where she dropped a bunch of Joshi on their heads.

And a very good final video to hype Bayley and Sasha. Hoped they'd have got a 30 minute Network special like Bálor got.

Crews is gonna be another Neville situation. Good on NXT but not standing out that much. Then, hits the main roster, and blows everyone away.

I hope he doesn't go full Neville though, and have his push halted for zero reason.
