Episode 1 is already up on the WWE Network - each episode is half an hour long.
The first episode concentrates on Baron Corbin, Tino Sabbatelli (formerly of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as Sabby Piscitelli), Devin Taylor and Nhooph Al-Areebi (now known as Aliyah), with a look at how Matt Bloom and Sara Amato operate. Sure a good amount of it is a work for the cameras, but they deal with big issues like concussion tests, struggling with being in developmental for years, not getting booked on house shows, and the loom of getting released.
Thought it was a good first episode, it set the tone for what to expect through the rest of the series. Weird hearing William Shatner keep referring to "WWE Superstars and Divas", and having to use the WWE lexicon. Nice use of Bayley as a comparison point - she helps set up the ring, and is shown to try as hard in front of 50 people at the Florida house shows as she does in Brooklyn. And she also drives a reasonably priced car.

I already like Baron Corbin a lot, but I came away from this liking him more. Yeah, he seems like a bit of a dick, but it feels real, which is what I like the most. It's not like he's a face. The best characters are always the real person dialed up anyways. I was getting Brock Lesnar vibes from him.

Looks like I'll be skipping the first episode. I already hate Baron Corbin based on his TV character. I don't need to hate him more.

I'm only familiar with Corbin. How did the others pan out?

Didn't watch it yet. What does William Shatner have to do with anything?

They say the best characters are an extension of their real selves... well Corbin is really a loner who wants to be champion and wrestle at Mania, but isn't a fan at all, and shows frustration at having been in developmental for three years. The scene where he's riding to the house show with Norman Smiley is key, he doesn't help put the ring up, and he's complaining about how slow the pre-show meeting it. He's someone who wants to achieve, but isn't happy at how slow the process is.

Mojo Rawley's promo during Regal's class is the most entertaining thing I have ever seen him do. Helps that he wasn't constantly going up to eleven, and I really loved the line "Don't be concerned with what I'm wearing. Because I can knock you out in flip flops!" I hope there's more focus on promo classes and other specialized skills classes they might have at the Performance Center and working on the prospects developing their characters.
It's good and all to focus on people who are flat out rookies to pro wrestling. Since it's obviously a shock to your system, both physically and mentally. But I think it's important to also focus on veterans who worked the indies to demonstrate the adjustment to the WWE/NXT style of working.

So, this isn't WWE's rip-off/remake of Breaking Bad?

Damn, dude. Sara does not give a f*** about Devin Taylor. She was so passive-aggressively dismissive that I was impressed by it.

Like the show. Wish it hadn't leaked about one of the Divas mentioned. Wondering if that is really Baron or they're trying to work the show?

Regal telling the talent to make eye contact and address the viewer at home, and explains why fans connect with that.
None of them actually do this, probably because Kevin Dunn thinks he knows more about wrestling than William Regal.

This part with them finding out the card, so good. I think I'm going to love this show.
