By the way, I get way too much enjoyment from just jumping off tall things in my power armour.

What does everyone's armor situation look like?
Im still wearing the Silver Shroud armor because it looks so awesome. I have better options, but i cant bring myself to switch it out just yet. With a metal helmet, dark sunglasses, and a skull bandana.
I seldom use Power Armor. I just find suits and deposit them at my Red Rocket Fortress. Currently housing 8 different suits.

I found some heavy combat armor awhile back and I'm mostly wearing that plus one bit of BoS armor and a mark 2 Synth helmet.

Greaser Jacket and Jeans with pocketed leg armour and sunglasses. If it gets hairy kellogs outfit and winterised power armour.

If you have Rank 1 of the Local Leader perk, you can set up supply lines that make items carry over as such. You have to find a settler and order them to start a supply line, and then pick a settlement. They will share supplies with that settlement. For ease of use, the best thing to do is link other settlements with one settlement (Sanctuary is a good base, although I think Starlight Drive In is great too because it's a shorter fast travel distance to and from other areas on the map), and once you do, you can share resources. The workbenches in the linked settlements will have the same resources available. Awesome to know. Thanks for the info. ...well shit. I stored a bunch of junk in a random workbench during a quest and have NO idea where it was.

I found a woolly hat, it's nice and sets off my welding goggles perfectly.

So, is it normal for NPC scavengers to just straight-up shoot you when they see you? 'cuz I was off scavenging in Cambridge and saw some of them in the distance. I think to myself "sweet! Some people who aren't raiders! Maybe I can trade with them or something!" so I go see them and then they immediately start shooting me. I especially got a kick out of the one who went "Why can't you people just live us alone?!" Well I would have, love, but then you started shooting me. And from the "Ssnake screws up a good thing because he's an idiot" files, I came across Trashcan Clara who had a sweet combat shotgun for sale and since I had quite a lot of money plus a lot of valuable junk, I could buy it real cheap, so I did... or so I thought because twenty minutes later, when I tried to equip it, I realized that I forgot to confirm the trade... Random screenshots: Way to Skyrim it up, Fallout 4! It was only a matter of time before Mr. Fluffybottom's life of crime caught up with him. 'sup? Just chillin' in my power armour wearing my cowgirl hat. No biggie. Dogmeat, what are you doing? Stahp it, Dogmeat. Stahp. I think we all need to take a moment and appreciate the awesomeness of this picture.

Here's my current base. I'm in the process of rebuilding. At first I had 4 big shacks just randomly placed at the end of stairways, and it looked really silly. And I would like the Minutemen General outfit, except it doesn't let me wear my face bandana, so it's out.

Oh and I finally heard "The End of the World" for the first time (for some reason it never played despite me being almost constantly tuned to Diamond City Radio, at least while exploring) and... my God, you guys were right, that song is such a downer. And it's so beautifully sung too. On top of that, it's a bit too appropriate to the player character's backstory for comfort.
And yet, now that I've heard it, I can't stop listening to it.

I avoided using my power armor because I read fusion cores were super rare, but around level 20+ I realized I was finding them fairly regularly now and had like 40 of them. Since then I've been using power armor almost full time, and still maintain around 35-40 fusion cores. If you want to stretch out your fusion cores, don't sprint all the time, sprinting drains them quickly. However using power armor full time makes it quite a bit easier so I ended up raising the difficulty again.

Poor Paul Pembroke....
First, he catches Henry Cooke sleeping with his wife. Then, when confronted... he gets his ass kicked by Cooke, in front of his wife... who doesn't give a shit, Then, he enlists my help to get a measure of revenge, Then, rather than kill Cooke, I help the two invade a drug deal, Then, when the dust settles.... he asks for his share, I negotiate a 70-30 split, but I still don't feel right about it... so I save the game, intending to reload, so I can kill him... just because, Then... I feel strangely fine about it and decide to continue the game as it is with him dead,
Poor Paul Pembroke

Started playing on the PS4 over the weekend. Not had any poor frame rate issues . Must have been fixed.
Anyway tip for starters: north east of Sanctuary is a robot scrap yard.. There is a Fatman lying on a wrecked car near a scrapped sentry bot. Don't know where to get a mini nuke though. So I stored until I find one. Oh and just east of the robot yard is a crashed aircraft.. There is some abandoned power armor (minus leg shielding) there.. Needs a power cell though.

One I think was near the Fat Man and the other is just outside of the fence hidden in a pile of tires.

Well, tried to play tonight... f***ing thing gets to the "Press Any Button To Continue" screen, I hit a button... thing crashes.
Tried deleting the save, deleting the game and re-downloading it.... same thing happened.
Restored my Xbone to factory defaults and seeing if that does anything.
Otherwise... I guess it was fun while it f***ing lasted, all two days of it.

I do like that Commander Kells of the brotherhood is voiced by Tuvok.
