4-19-86 episode
Within the first ten minutes...
3:28- Ric Flair: "I don't do no jobs in front of 70,000 people."
4:47- Road Warriors vs. Bill Tabb/Ray Traylor (pre-Big Bubba Rogers/Big Boss Man)
8:09- Dusty Rhodes: "I don't do no jobs in front of 70,000 people, either. So where are we at now? Where are we at now?"

Almost seems like they saw the rating for RAW, freaked out and rushed this stuff up to keep people from unsubscribing. I don't care if they get a 60 share every week, if the product sucks I'm not watching it. That said, now I can start replacing JBL and yell "SHUT THE F*** UP DAVID CROCKETT!"

I watched the first two available. Boy is that crowd hot for the heels promos, especially Arn.
But caught the old Mid-Atlantic segment where Magnum kisses Baby Doll...then David Crockett ruins the moment by getting all up in their business, "She likes it!"
DAVID! BACK THE F*** AWAY YOU LITTLE TOAD!

I miss 20 minutes of upcoming events commercials with the NWA music on a loop. It was always exciting to see that they were coming nowhere close to where I lived.

Once they get '88 and '89 up, I'm going to be glued to the TV. That's what got me into wrestling as a 4 and 5 year old kid.

I miss 20 minutes of upcoming events commercials with the NWA music on a loop. It was always exciting to see that they were coming nowhere close to where I lived. Sunday, the OMNI IN ATLANTA! Dusty Rhodes will be in action. Thursday, the Greensboro Coliseum, the Russians Ivan and Nikita will be there... That was a nice touch, back when house shows "mattered".

Was there ever a Flair vs Buddy Landell feud? I can't remember one but would think there would have to be over the Nature Boy name. Seems weird seeing two Nature Boy's running around both in pretty high spots.

Flair and Buddy had a match, where they did a Dusty finish where Buddy got the belt but it got reversed, it was in the spring of 85 before the Horsemen were formed.

The Mid-Atlantic Gateway has been doing some really cool stuff lately. The "birth" of the Four Horsemen, and the 30th Anniversary of Starrcade '85, both which tie into the early NWA we can now see on the Network.
Highly recommended reading.

When WWE adds episodes of Saturday Night with this intro, I'll be happier than a pig in slop. www.youtube.com/watch?v=62ZdaPycJP8I remember getting soooo pissed off when I would tune to TBS at 6:05 on Saturday nights only to see a Braves game in progress. THAT'S WHEN WRESTLING WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ON, DAMMIT!
