When WWE adds episodes of Saturday Night with this intro, I'll be happier than a pig in slop. www.youtube.com/watch?v=62ZdaPycJP8I remember getting soooo pissed off when I would tune to TBS at 6:05 on Saturday nights only to see a Braves game in progress. THAT'S WHEN WRESTLING WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ON, DAMMIT! I still hate the Braves to this day and it stems from turning on TBS at 6:05 on Saturday's and seeing them instead of my Rasslin'

Marathoning this show is starting to take a toll. Up to March 86 and I can only watch so many Barbarian squash matches.

I got to say, "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez is pretty underrated.

I won't ever complain about more WCW (or in this case, JCP) content going up on the Network.

I watched the first two available. Boy is that crowd hot for the heels promos, especially Arn. But caught the old Mid-Atlantic segment where Magnum kisses Baby Doll...then David Crockett ruins the moment by getting all up in their business, "She likes it!" DAVID! BACK THE F*** AWAY YOU LITTLE TOAD! And then when Tully Pearl Harbors Magnum, Crockett drops the mic and tries to beat the crap out of Tully! Great stuff!

As the wrestlers would say, "Well, David knows what it's like to have been in the ring." Reason #2 on my list of reasons not to buy Cornette's Mid-Atlantic tapes, David Crockett wrestles. (Reason #1: I'm a cheap bastard.)

I checked out a random episode.
Why does it start off with a silent shot of the Joe Louis Arena and then fade to an obvious studio? What's with the camera men on the floor with the cameras pointed up and through the ropes?
Amazing that this show is taking place at the same time as WWE but looks like 20 years behind.
Tony Schiavone's porn stache hahha.

I miss 20 minutes of upcoming events commercials with the NWA music on a loop. It was always exciting to see that they were coming nowhere close to where I lived. Sunday, the OMNI IN ATLANTA! Dusty Rhodes will be in action. Thursday, the Greensboro Coliseum, the Russians Ivan and Nikita will be there... That was a nice touch, back when house shows "mattered". When they showed the Primetime Wrestling's on classics on demand I used to hate that they edited out the wwf on tour ad especially when on every show they left in Gorilla throwing to it as they go to break I needed to know that Howard Finkel would inform me that The Bolshevik's & Greg "The Hammer" Valentine are gonna be in Detroit.

Watching all this hype for the 86 Jim Crocket Sr. Memorial Cup makes me mad that the event isn't on the network. Always wanted to watch that as a kid too but never saw it at the video store.

That's good point, I wish they would put up the Crockett Cups. Hell, they should have put up at least the highlight videos of the Great American Bash tours. Because I don't think they ever put up the original Wargames matches.... hold on, let me check....nope they don't have the originals. So it would also be nice if they put up the 85-87 highlights of the tours. They shown matches from them before, so I know they have the highlights at least. Probably just the completionist side of me, because with the release of all the NWA shows, it would be nice to get the big shows to go along with them.

The War Games set has the first two War Games matches from July 1987, but the footage was terrible, looking like it was taken from someone's VHS copy of the Bash '87 videotape Crockett released. WWE does have high quality footage from Crockett Cups and Bash shows, but the NWA announcers didn't do voiceovers for most of it. The Horsemen set from 2007 has a 20+ minute Ric Flair vs. Ricky Morton match with no commentary, and there's several other WWE Home Video releases with NWA matches that either have no commentary or modern voiceovers from Dusty Rhodes and others.

Flair may be a joke now but this show reminds me that he was The Man. Every promo of his on these shows is great.
