As someone who saw both The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones in theaters I thought ATOC rang a lot more home to the original trilogy.

As someone who saw both The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones in theaters I thought ATOC rang a lot more home to the original trilogy. AOTC does hold some fond memories because it was my first (and only) IMAX experience, and I watched it in the company of a electro-industrial-metal band somewhere in New York (no idea where, exactly though), after which I had my first Jack Daniels' BBQ burger. It was a fun evening.

Good movie, not really... but it does have, imo, the best single piece of music from the new trilogy in "Across The Stars" so that's something...

You say that like there's people on Earth that actually like Attack of the Clones. I think we all know who to blame here...

yeah the only good thing about it was that we got a couple of good cartoon series out of it.

Natalie Portman made it worthwhile. And I know that Leia + bikini was fan service too...but for some reason Padme's outfit rip annoyed me. I guess cause it reminded me of Britney Spears or something, and as a young adult I was having no more of that skank invading everything! Kudos to Thor for giving her a sidekick less likeable though, so huzzah!

Adding to the few good things about it:
Across the Stars.
Absolutely awesome love theme, maybe one of the Top 10 in film. Totally deserved a better movie, but listening to it, you can feel the kind of lush tragedy Lucas was aiming for with Anakin and Padme.
