He was Jack The Ripper? I thought he was going for The Hitcher from The Mighty Boosh. Which would've been way cooler. He should had dressed as the Spirit of Jazz.

Did Johnny Depp ever play Jack the Ripper? That's pretty much what Finn was last night to me, Johnny Depp about to play another classic crazy character. He played a policeman trying to solve the case. His character was strange, pale and slightly foppish. It was quite a stretch for Johnny.

Besides his role as the cop trying to stop him in From hell, He did play Sweeny Todd, a serial killer from London that used a razor. and as I said his nickname was The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

While I think we're overreading Balor's entrance, I now want to have Cena wear an Aaron Hernandez Jersey the next time they're in Boston.

the entrance was cool. the airbrushed cartoon thing on his back was lame as all hell, and he really needs to get ultra nuts/violent/something when he goes to the demon paint. at the moment it's kind of like Jeff Hardy as Willow, "hey it's Jeff Hardy's alter-ego and he's kooky, check him out as he wrestles almost exactly the same!" That was the biggest pet peeve with the whole Willow thing, not one goddamn tweak to his moveset smh. As for Finn, I dug the entrance, and swagger he walked with once he picked up the title. ANYTHING is better than those stupid f***ing tentacles on his head. Don't be hating on the dreads homeboy, lol.

When I saw him wearing those dreads with that ripper attire I felt I had to get a "You Look Stupid" chant going.

Jack the Ripper has gone being just some serial killer. He's crossed over into myths and he's as real as Dracula and the Wolf Man.

The Whitechapel murders were real. "Jack The Ripper" as a figure was largely just a media creation aimed at personifying and sensationalising the cases. The real killer could have been a woman for all we know, or maybe multiple killers working independently of each other. It was one dude, there weren't multiple killers with that level of medical knowledge working independently of each other. Just go to something as simple as Wikipedia, they say there were plenty of murders before Jack the Ripper in the same area years before. And murders happened after Jack the Ripper. They decided to link The Ripper to 4 actual murders. But given that about a hundred occured, it's mind-boggling that only person did them all. It was a media creation.

I just dislike that an already over the top and theatric entrance is getting bells and whistles attached to it for specific shows.
It's like Triple H. His entrances normally are a big timed song and dance. Oh but now its that PLUS he's a terminator! Ooooooo. Lame. Bloated.
