So season 4 had two back to back episodes about Nostalgia... Well, I suppose it's better than a season having the same episode eight times in a row. No, I'm still not over Endless Eight.

"On Thursday We Leave For Home" is on, the one season 4 episode that actually worked.
Making the show an hour was horrible, everything had to be stretched beyond belief. Like Gotham last season, they prepped for 16 episodes, but Fox ordered 6 more, so they had to stretch everything out and add a lot of filler.

Yeah, hour long episodes were a bad idea.

Yeah, hour long episodes were a bad idea. Even Serling himself apparently hated it. Makes sense how they got that way though, show was a mid-season replacement for that season and they probably wanted to try to get more mileage out of the usually bloated budgets.

Don't get on this ship.
No, we want to.
No, get off the ship.
No, we're ok.
No get off the ship.
Ahhhhhhh. Just tell them and they'll leave. That young brash American blood is on your hands, old tea partiers.

Actually, I ranked the entire season 4 after I viewed them all earlier this year. Here's my list from best to worst if you're curious: The New Exhibit He's Alive Of Late I think of Cliffordville The Bard On Thursday We Leave for Home Printer's Devil Death Ship Valley of the Shadow In His Image No Time Like the Past Miniature Mute Jess-Belle The Incredible World of Horace Ford I Dream of Genie The Parallel Passage on the Lady Anne The Thirty-Fathom Grave

Looks like we're on time for the orgy.
... I am somewhat surprised that line made it on to television...

I can only assume that the censor had no idea what the word meant.

I can only assume that the censor had no idea what the word meant. That actually happens a lot in shows/movies from that era. The Maltese Falcon even has a homophobic slur in it.

Yes, fiiinally out of season four. Though I still have quite a bit of it to get caught up on on my DVR. Probably put that off a few days.
Granted not that season five's all that great either honestly.

There are a lot of classics in season 5, "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet", "A Kind of Stopwatch", "Living Doll", "Old Man in the Cave", "The Masks", "I Am the Night - Color Me Black", and "Stopover in a Quiet Town".

True, are some great ones in there, just also some crap like Queen of the Nile, Black Leather Jackets, Occurence at Owl Creak Bridge, Come Wander With Me, and Bewitchin' Pool. Another couple of classics though are Ninety Years Without Slumbering and Jeopardy Room.

For those who watch Twilight Zone, what is your favorite season I thiiiink I'd lean season three, but it's a tough call. Season one's probably got a better all-around quality and has a lot of episodes I love, but the lack of on-camera Serling until the finale makes it hard to go with that one given what a hallmark of the show it is.

It's really amazing how easy it would be to rewrite Nightmare at 20,000 Feet to be a sequel to Nick of Time. Would just need to change a couple of lines of dialogue really, wish they'd done it.
