Well, so lets say it's over for good. Now there was a lot of the bad and some would say barely any good. But putting all that aside, how would you fairly grade Sting's complete WWE run the last 12 months?
Top 5 Moments:
1. Survivor Series Debut 2. Wrestlemania 31 Match (Only because it proved to me he could still go) 3. Night of Champions (He looked damn good, too bad for the injury) 4. The blackout attack with Orton 5. Sting in a box/WWE 2K14 Commercial
I wouldn't be a cynical as some, I'll just take any Sting on my TV since there isn't much time anyways. All in all I liked the run, just for the sake of seeing him in 2014-2015, so I give it a B.

For me there is no putting aside the bad. A solid D grade. f*** that Wrestlemania match.

D.
D is for Disappointing, Dreary, and Dumb.
Seriously though, that 'run' was just bad in pretty much every facet.

I put 'C'. It was exactly what I was expecting. No more, no less.

How about we destroy any evidence of Sting's run in WWE from history and pretend it never happened.

B. The matches were solid for a guy his age and i'm glad I got to see Sting at Mania and in WWE if it indeed is over for his wrestling career.

How come "depressing as hell" is not a grade choice?

What run? The entire thing felt like a reason to justify Sting having a Legends contract.

D-. Amazing debut that was made meaningless by the Authority coming right back like nothing really happened, and it was all downhill from there.
The worst thing, at least for some of us ... all we really wanted was Sting vs Taker, even if the match was 90% entrances, posing and milking the staredown. It would have been fine with mostly theatrics and minimal wrestling. It was right there, it was the dream match, it would have been easy and spared him risk of serious injury.
Instead, we got the masturbatory Mania match with HHH, the ridiculous handshake, and then he gets badly hurt trying to work a fast paced and high impact match with a younger guy. Thanks WWE.

F. I wasn't even that interested to begin with, and as time went on, I cared less. I think I never really even understood why he was there other than, hey it's Sting Iin wwe!

C, only because Sting did the best with what he could. WWE's use of him and his storyline was a no doubt F.

D. It was way too late, he shouldn't have lost to Triple H, and should have been involved in Summerslam (that rumored Sting & Shield vs. Wyatt's would have been cool). Sting vs. Rollins would have felt like a bigger deal if Sting had done more leading up to that point.

His matches were bad at the end of the day so he gets a straight C.
