Best and Worst FCW/NXT Transformations?

From Bobo's motorcycle, Richie Steamboat's dog, and generally copious amounts of baby oil, it's no secret that a lot of the FCW and early NXT website photoshoots were just... unflattering.



Let's talk about who made the best and worst transformations in terms of physique.


Oh, and to make this less appearance-obsessed and thus less typically FAN, let's also talk about how they're portrayed and booked. 





I'll start off with a bad one:

Bobo Dallas: He went from a decent looking guy booked as a blue chip babyface (he was already FCW heavyweight champ at age 21 in 2011!) in passably good shape to a doughy guy with a goofy smile in pure jobberdom.









And a feel-good story: 

Bayley went from 'not as conventionally attractive as other divas so let's stick her in a mask' on NXT house shows to 'girl covered in fried chicken grease' on the OG NXT site to 'wonderfully inspirational NXT Women's champ who is given the chance to wrestle over 10 minutes and moves a lot of merch'

Wasn't much in FCW, wasn't much in NXT.

I'm probably in the minority here but I felt Dean Ambrose has deteriorated appearance-wise. I thought his post Shield tank-top and jeans combo was going to a be a brief phase but it's been going on for almost two years now. He had a great look in NXT/FCW below:





Although he's more lean and ripped today I thought that extra mass looked good on him in FCW. Also his street gear was great. The white tee shirts and jean jackets worked great for him.



Oh, and for how he's portrayed I don't think anything actually changed so yeah that's good to see I guess.

A definite improvement.

Curiously wearing a mask, Davina debuted under her real name of Pamela, teaming up with Paige and Charlotte to take on Emma, Summer Rae and Audrey Marie. Davina’s team won the match.




She also wrestled at their live event on Friday, this time working as a heel (and without the mask), where she was defeated by Charlotte after a backslide.

As for why they actually put her in a mask, I only assumed the worst (perhaps because she's not "diva hot" or because her last name is Martinez).  She was always maskless before NXT.

His hairline actually seems pretty stable, and his D, I'm sure, is still quite T.

And I will completely disagree with people who say Ambrose's street clothes look isn't good. It's obviously different, and as he summed it up in an interview I think I read somewhere ((paraphrase)) "When you get in a fight you're wearing actual clothes. Not underwear."
