Guy looked so chuffed on RAW. He's the champ, and the crowd are cheering for him. I don't know about you but I prefer it when babyfaces actually get cheered aka Austin/Hogan/Rock (the majority of the time) rather than booed out of the building like Cena (a lot of the time).
Anyway, I think he deserves it. I thought it was all over for him recently after that disastrous promo a few weeks ago, in fact he's had quite a few bad promos, but he's also busted his ass and has really improved between the ropes.
I hate Steph but I kind of enjoyed their segment yesterday, plus Roman winning the title on RAW was one of my favourite WWE moments of the year. And his match with Brock is still my match of the year.
I want to like the guy and I hope he can continue to do well.

I'm enjoying him so much more nowadays. He's won me over big time within a year. Now I'm just hoping the booking doesn't turn his reign (hehe) into crap.

I'm happy for him. I enjoy his matches, and as long as he doesn't wrestle Big Show again for either a very long time or forever, I should be set.

I'm kind of torn. On one hand I am glad things seem to be working out, he has very noticeably improved since the start of the year, and I've been saying for months they should just give him the title and see how he goes, but now that he actually has it my interest in WWE's completely checked out to where I didn't even bother looking at the Raw results, have a hard time seeing myself watching the Rumble, and only really have been checking this section of the forum because it's where my address bar defaults to.
I dunno, I think maybe the vitriol was the only thing keeping me interested in WWE and now that they're doing something I don't necessarily like but am okay with I'm just kind of checked out.

I would like to shake his hand. Then call him a Roman noodle and kick him in the nuts and run away.

Very happy for him.
It's funny because less than a year ago I couldn't stand him.
I shit all over him at Fastlane and Mania by saying he was a bad wrestler and that Bryan and Lesnar dragged him to a good match. He then proceeded to have consistently good/great matches every month.
So yeah, not only am I happy for him, I'm happy that I was completely wrong about the guy.
Let's just hope he does less talking and more kicking ass from here on out.

Yep, I've wanted to like Roman for ages bur WWE made me hate him.
I still fear he's going to call Steph a Fanny Fart or something equally lame and make me hate him again though.

I don't think putting the title on Roman is a bad move in current circumstances, but I still have zero interest in it.
I'm just very bored.

I'm happy for Roman. I wish they hadn't created such a culture of fan anger while getting him there.

It was tough being a Roman fan leading up to Mania last year, feels like a sort of vindication right now with the positive responses he's gotten.

I'm happy a guy reached the top of his profession. Sure.
My opinions about his talent and whether or not he deserves it aside, I'm happy for Roman Reigns the guy yes.

I like him and yes, I'm happy for him that he seems to have crossed a barrier that was holding him back. That said, I'm not quite 100% there in feeling that he will last. He still lacks the versatility to really get to the top of the mountain and stay there at least as of right now. The next 4-6 months will say a lot about where he's going from here. There's only so much good booking will do, the long lasting guys at the top can overcome bad booking and Roman is lacking that ability. I'm rooting for him though.

Happy.
I figured that once they let Roman be more "punch your face through the back of your head" and less "Sufferin' succotash", he'd get over. Sure, the old man had to come out and do the job, but sometimes you need the biggest heel to get your babyface over.

I don't understand this "it was hard being a Reigns fan so this is a vindication" thing that many people in this topic were stating. Most of us didn't dislike Reigns himself, we just disliked his booking. We knew he had potential, he had a good look, we knew they could book him in a way that highlights his strengths and we knew that if they worked the kinks out he'd be in a great position. Reigns right now is booked far better than he was when the hate reached it's peak a while back, it's not comparable really. He's also improved all over. The "bad Vince promos every night, pushed to the top 'I'm an underdog yall' Samoan Cena" Reigns isn't the same as the "Ambrose best buddy and we're everywhere with it, badass, letting it all hang out I'm a monster" Reigns we see today.
I'm happy that the company finally realized that they need to book him similarly to how he was in the Shield. Make him a badass who destroys stuff who just loves hanging with his people and he's good. That's all he needs, you get that and he's fine with his improvement.
Now his career will improve.
