vs Lesnar seemed pretty dumb.
The guy has been pinned twice since his return, and one was to a part time wrestler. If you were going to have him lose, why not to a guy we see weekly?

CM Punk was clearly out of spite as it made no sense and cooled off the hottest thing going in the company. I know a lot of people will say Booker T at mania 19, but I kinda get that one sans tasteless story line. Wanted to establish the still new WHC

Jeff Hardy 2001 after dropping the IC title. Jeff Hardy 2008 at No Mercy. Rob Van Dam Unforgiven 2002. Bill Goldberg Summerslam 2003. The crowd was practically begging for Goldberg to win. Sting at Wrestlemania. Booker T at Wrestlemania.

Probably most of his career. Those world title reigns (Especially during his Reign of Boredom.. Or Terror) there were far more deserving champs at those time. Honestly, anything after 2001. He sucked pretty much from 2002-on and was way more over pushed than his talent/ability warranted.
If anyone else, the WWE front office would have gave them a nice 2-3 year run on top, thrown him back down to the mid card and either get future endeavored or quits (after the front office doesn't do anything with him). But he married into the family so that didn't happen
For the most part the guy was really only a midcard/upper mid card wrestler (Aside from 1999-2001)
The huge mega pushes he receiving from 2002-on there was generally ALWAYS someone on the roster who deserved the pushed over him. From 2002 with RVD/Booker/Jericho etc. all the way to 2011 and Punk

Booker T at Wrestlemania.
I don't care what anybody says, storyline or not Triple H did not need to win after that. At. All. Booker could have easily won and lost the title at the next PPV for all I care but he had to win at that point.

Wanted to establish the still new WHC I don't think Booker was ready to lead RAW, but the half Pedigree and delay before the pin was such a burial

You know, it's ridiculous that he got a win from Brock. If it was in UFC, Triple H would have gotten knocked out and carried out of the building.

Even with the weird inclusion of Kevin Nash, Punk's losses could have worked if they wrote the storyline better (his losses were from interference). Booker T, however, is probably the one of the worst booking decisions in WWE history I've seen. WWE is somewhat lucky that people remember many other big matches from that show more (or maybe by their own accord).

From 2002 with RVD/Booker/Jericho etc. all the way to 2011 and Punk I get why they would want to make him 'the guy' when the Raw brand started in 2002. Because Stephanie said so Because he was big, strong, good on the mic and the biggest name left over from the Attitude Era. Aside from Booker T, I'm fine with how all his other feuds from 02-05 went. And at least Goldberg & Benoit got one reign with the title.

Booker T
I know it's a cliche at this point but HHH winning is one of the most beef headed decisions I've ever seen, Booker could've lost it at Backlash (The match at Backlash was a 6 man tag for pete's sake)

Sting and Booker T. Winning against Brock is kinda understandable since they wanted to have a final match (not saying I like it, but I get it), and I still don't blame HHH for the thing with Punk just because Punk's push was screwed way before that match ever happened and I'm sure they had Nash vs. Punk planned to start with.

Classic example: after the screw job when Owen came back all his momentum was halted by being beaten by HHH and DX at every turn

Booker, Brock, Punk, and Sting. My exact list. Every single one of these was infuriating.
