Were there ever any toys you wanted as a kid but were never able to get? I always wanted the "big" transformers like Optimus or Megatron, but unfortunately they were too expensive and i had to make do with the smaller ones. I also always wanted the Cobra Terror Drome and the M.A.S.K. Boulder Hill playset, but again, too expensive.

One of those small cars/kid sized ATVs meant for like 3-4 year olds.

The really big ones... like the GI Joe air craft carrier and Fortress Maximus. Assuming too expensive and being huge are why my parent's didn't get them for me...

One of those small cars/kid sized ATVs meant for like 3-4 year olds. Power Wheels. That was mine too. I think it was less about money and more about the fact that there just wasn't room for it, because I was otherwise loaded. My grandma was a huge spoiler. For Christmases we just circled stuff in the JCPenny's catalog and almost always got everything we asked for. There is literally 150 pounds of Lego at my parents house to this day. I had the TMNT sewer, blimp, van and Technodrome. GI Joe vehicles like mad, but the super big ones were before my time. Every megazord until I stopped caring about Power Rangers (up to the one where they went into space, I think), including the companion megazord things like the brontosaurus, the turtle and the sphynxy pyramid guy. I never got that either... though that was also probably a space/safety thing

The Turtle Blimp. No matter how much I begged, I just convince my parents s to buy it for me. All my Turtle adventures were land and water based.

I can't complain though, I had most other Joe stuff and a decent Transformers collection. I actually don't blame them for not getting me the USS Flagg because I just saw it put together on Comic Book Men and there is no way in hell it would have even fit in my bedroom. And I didn't have the kind of parents that let us have toys all over, our toys went in our rooms or they got thrown away when my mom was cleaning.

Not toys as such, but I asked my dad if he'd build me a tree house and go-kart when I was about three. In my head it was an afternoon's work and no hassle whatsoever.
Thirty seven years on, and I'm still waiting...

Nintendo. For whatever reason, I had the gun and the Duck Hunt game but not the system itself.

Thunderbirds Tracy Island
Those things sold out stupidly quick when I was a kid.
Blue Peter did show you how to make your own but I never tried.

A lot of Transformers like Optimus Prime & the guys from the movie like Hot Rod, Springer & Ultra Magnus. I can't complain though, I did get Blurr & Kup one Christmas. I wanted Snake Mountain so bad, but once again can't complain when that Christmas my Santa/Parents/Step Nan haul included Castle Grayskull, He-Man & Skeletor, Sy-Klone, Roboto,Two Bad & the Dragon Walker. As for everybody asking for the USS Flagg, we have Kash Flagg so you should all be grateful
