There's this little known fed from the 80s and 90s that I'd wish they'd upload already. It's called WWF. Do they own the rights to any of that stuff? It was really good.

That ended in May 2006.  Tod's claims didn't get very far, mostly based on his waiting until 2005 to bring up the matter rather than during ECW's bankruptcy.

Very.


The syndicated show was still produced on a shoestring budget and was limited to odd hours, so there wasn't a lot they couldn't get away with.

The TNN show was meddled with and restrained in content from day one, to the point where even some of the music ECW used was considered "demonic" and not allowed. Blame TNN for enforcing their hillbilly/Bible Belt "morals" while trying to become a legitimate cable television network with national appeal.

There's some awesome stuff on those TNN shows though. I am quite looking forward to this. There's an RVD/Lynn match from an early episode on TNN that was seriously one of the best matches of the late 90s (Lynn had broken ribs, which added to the RVD onslaught). Also some Tanaka/Awesome matches on those shows as well.

IMO Hardcore TV became the B show after the TNN deal. There were definitely some gems on the old TNN shows though and it'll be cool to see those again.

This would be amazing for me, to be able to go back and see the ECW on TNN episodes I first watched as a teen in the 90s.
