Nothing was really lost except that I wish Lefort stuck around as a manager. I liked him that role and wanted to see what he could do with Billie Kay. And here we were just slotting him as Tyler's manager/"consultant". It could have worked. He would have been perfect in a Rico-type stylist role.

I am actually not shocked by this. Seeing how he went from a featured player to barely used starmaker quick time, the writing was on the wall about his standings. He'll get booking for being a NXT alumni and show he was more than the fat guy with the ill fitting tights. Another reason why NXT needs an actual midcard instead of cycling people down the card and out the door. But that also comes part and parcel with being in NXT- the "It's developmental" thing goes both ways as well. As much as people want stars to develop on NXT, there also has to be a realization that part of NXT being developmental means that "cycling people down the card and out the door" has to play a role in NXT as well, simply because if people are developing, the people who are developing well will rise up the card and eventually make it to the main roster- but people who aren't developing as well will start falling down the card and eventually be replaced with new people who are developing better.

I understand the part of NXT being a competition and you to got to grind it out & outshine others to keep your job. NXT though tends to cool off on talents quickly. If you're lucky, you get repackaged and hopefully that helps you out. Otherwise you got to hope that you are not in the bottom percentile when the new class comes in. If Tyler Breeze stayed in NXT, we would be talking about him today in the past tense of working for WWE because he was in Bull's spot before his callup.

Tyler always had something to do, he floated around without much of a purpose but he was always given important things to do. Bull's last few appearances have been losing to Alex Riley and Losing to the drifter. Breeze was at least always facing people like Balor and Liger.

Management liked enough put him against people because he makes others look good and carries himself the same. But that don't mean job security in developmental.

Bull as a comedy guy was pretty entertaining. Hopefully he goes to TNA as Matt Hardy's Personal Trainer.

I went to the NXT show last night. If I'd known about this outrage, I still would've gone.

Man. When NXT stops caring about you you fall down FAST.

He was Jerry Lynn. Management liked enough put him against people because he makes others look good and carries himself the same. But that don't mean job security in developmental. I'm pretty sure that being a talented, safe, trustworthy wrestler who is well-liked by management pretty much absolutely does mean job security in developmental. If he wasn't challenging for the title, he was just one tier below that... the guys the title challengers beat. He also appeared on TV all the time. Dude was not in danger of getting fired.

Man. When NXT stops caring about you you fall down FAST. That's about as empty of an observation as it gets. Given that it's practically a 24/7 gig with cameras everywhere, you're scrutinized around the clock. It's never as shallow as just "NXT stopped caring." Whether it was Dempsey or a no-name guy like Howard... there are processes that they follow, routines they have to do and everything else under the sun to prove their worth to be on the payroll. We've seen about a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of .00001% of their development or lack thereof.

Well they signed Nakamura who is probably making more than those three guys combined. Plus if they don't see a spot for you on the main roster ever than what's the point of keeping you.

I'll give NXT credit for trying with Bull. His initial push was pretty solid. They even built chants into his theme music, but the guy just didn't work in NXT. they repackaged him with Bullfit, which is fine comedy mid-card stuff, but nothing extraordinary.
That being said, he was always....no aesthetically endowed for TV. He's not big enough to be a monster and he didn't have the charisma to compensate for his appearance.
