Bull fit was baffling, it started strongly with weekly developments and then just stopped with Bull barely changing outside of some face mannerisms and a robe. I don't know if that's on Dempsey or the road agents but I feel more could have been done with the gimmick.
It was clear the other two were going nowhere, I thought they had potential but I guess with a roster so stacked guys like them have to go to make room for the newcomers.

No he wasn't. Tyler always had something to do, he floated around without much of a purpose but he was always given important things to do. Bull's last few appearances have been losing to Alex Riley and Losing to the drifter. Breeze was at least always facing people like Balor and Liger. He was Jerry Lynn. Management liked enough put him against people because he makes others look good and carries himself the same. But that don't mean job security in developmental. Triple H also pushed for him to be protected on the main roster and allegedly considered him to have potential as a "heel Dolph Ziggler". He absolutely has job security in making others look good if he's talented about it. Bull is a different problem entirely. Ideally, nobody has "job security" as a developmental jobber. Today's jobbers are supposed to be tomorrow's stars, which is how we see everyone who isn't a massive signing come in. Nobody should spend their career losing in developmental, because once they have the seasoning and talent, they should be moving up the card and going somewhere, eventually working their way up to the main roster. The problem then becomes guys who developmental feels aren't developing, who one way or another don't have what it takes to move up to the next step of the process, and are judged not good enough. If this thing about it being contract expirations is true, then it's a simply a matter of them evaluating someone when their contract is about to run up and seeing if they're worth resigning or not. There is definitely not any job security in developmental; you either prove yourself, or you fall behind. It's why guys like Breeze stuck around and his talent was recognized, while Bull showed up, did a bunch of stuff, and fell short of expectations.

I feel badly for all three men, but I never particularly saw anything in any of them. Louis never really seemed to get much of a chance though. BullFit was fun, but I don't think his ceiling was too high.

I never understood why Louis was a monster. He was a pretty boy type,WHY make him a monster? It wasn't a bad idea initially. The pretty boy who is angered over losing his good looks was a decent idea. The problem was that they barely used him on TV (he did suck, but still) and had him dragging out the gimmick for almost two years when he should've grown his hair back by now.

NXT as it is now feels so different compared to when the Legionnaires were a thing that it feels like it's been that long. Either way "Marcus Louis is a deformed monster" was dragged out way longer than it should've been.

I'm sad that LeFort is gone, because this generation of wrestling desperately needed an equivalent to Rico.

I'll give NXT credit for trying with Bull. His initial push was pretty solid. They even built chants into his theme music, but the guy just didn't work in NXT. they repackaged him with Bullfit, which is fine comedy mid-card stuff, but nothing extraordinary. That being said, he was always....no aesthetically endowed for TV. He's not big enough to be a monster and he didn't have the charisma to compensate for his appearance. He'd have been fine if they actually let him develop an old-school, brawler moveset. That's either really hard to do, or the WWE trainers don't want people to do it, because it's such a perfect fit for people like Bull, and he's still doing damn flying headbutts.

I saw Bull work a really fun comedy match with The Dillinger.
I think they were really on to something with Bull Fit, shame it wasn't to be

Surprised mostly by Bull cause I thought a call up to being Tyler Breeze's partner in a model/pretty boy tag team were really good.

It's a shame about Bull leaving, apparently his matches on the house shows would be legit really funny and enjoyable.

During the Owens/Rhodes/Josh from tough Enough twitter debacle.... Bull tweeted something about having respect for peers, to which Owens responded, "He's not our peer."
Almost expected Josh to respond today with "Yeah, I'm not your peer. I'm still employed."
Regardless, kinda sad to see these guys go but with all the people they're signing and giving TV time to... something HAD to give.
